They sell expired snacked and remove the expiry date. I went in the gas station to purchase a popsicle for my son I opened it while paying my son gave it to me to taste when I did it was stale and the cashier stated it's not expired but yet still couldn't show me the expiry date. He stated he couldn't do anything I had to pay for it even those I throw it in the garbage in the store.
I've been buying OLG tickets and fuel at this Shell station for the past year, but after today, never again. The staff here are arrogant and unprofessional. Today, I was served by Suarav, who refused to sell me an OLG ticket because he said I looked younger than 30 and I didn't have my ID. First of all, I'm 35 and I look more like 45. Secondly, Suarav clearly doesn't know the rules; you need to look younger than 25 to be asked for ID. When I told him to check the rules, he refused. Absolutely disrespectful behavior. Do not recommend this station at all.
It's a gas station, what can I say? Never had lines at the pumps there, and the slurpees are good. The buy-5-get-one-free slurpee rewards cards are also nice.
I hate the late night window. I asked the gentleman behind the late night window for a root beer and he told me that they don't sell root beer. I wish I could make this up. I assume he thought I was talking about real beer, so I asked him to please check. He walks over to the fridge does a fake scan and shakes his head no. I then remember that across the street there is a 24hr metro and they don't have a late night window. Problem solved
