when prompted by the machine to use or skip airmiles, i pressed skip. it still went to the air miles screen. no on-screen button to get out of it. just a space to punch in my air miles. this all happening outside at zero degree temperatures. at least i was able to get out of that by pressing the red X on the pinpad. still negligent on shell's part for having glitchy interfaces.
Very good service. I went today around 6pm to get car wash the kind girl told me deal of 5 and related promotion. No shell evera told me this before 8 yrs going to shell gas station scarborough areas
This location is awful. The car wash is always closed and when I inquire about it they say it's because it's too cold outside. However other locations will be open at the same time. Today was last straw , I went at 11am when weather was around -5 max and it was closed. I then tried again at 7pm and it was closed again. I talk to cash and they say it's closed because it too cold (feels like -15 with wind chill lol) the temp at 7pm was actually -9. I have no idea why it was closed at 11am today by their own logic. Very frustrating. Seems the owner/manager is intentionally keeping car wash closed arbitrarily.
I went for a car wash and waited for 50 minutes. When it was finally my turn, I reached the station, but then a guy came out of the store and turned the board to ‘Closed.’ It was cold and windy, and he told me the door wasn’t opening. Are you kidding me? The app was showing the car wash as busy. I asked him, ‘Did you turn off the system from inside? Because I saw you changing the board to ‘Closed’ while I was at spot number 3. If you want to close, at least let everyone who is already there finish first.
Here it goes, The reason for a 3 star rating is because I recently used the car wash at Shell and it didn't even clean the car properly. I have been to various shell locations and from the look of it I could tell that the machine was set to use very little foam as compared to the other locations. For the reference I am attaching a picture from the inside.
I bought car washes and now I can't use them because they are remodeling their car wash and I can't use my codes in another location, apparently their policy mentions that they are not responsible for that and their staff in stores does not have the slightest sense of customer service
11/19/2024 Really bad service from this gas station to the extent that Shell Canada will certainly hear about this. Purchased a basic car wash and my vehicle came out the same way that it got in... literally only the upper of the vehicle was clean. That said the bottom part of the doors and any other panels from the knee below m where not that dirty but it didn't matter cause it never got cleaned. The attendant was kind enough to offer a rewaah biyvot didn't work and apparently he could reissue it again even though I didn't use the reissued voucher. That too bad for Shell...I guessbthe 3.6 stars for this location is not a coincident. Well...this might have been the last time I stop here for anything. See the photos for the halfass job the car wash did. Apparently I'm not the only dissatisfied customer with the car wash...that should ring some bells. Social media is a really powerful tool...? @shellcanada ___________________ Decent service for the most part... One thing I'd like to call out though is there's a sign on the pump stating that if the attendant does not recommend a car wash you get it for free...well even though on my last fill-up I was not asked if I wanted a car wash on the contrary the attendant also changed me for that even though I called it out... disappointing and misleading to false advertise this. 2/4/2024 10:14am
