if you enjoy medical attention this is definitely not the place for you. I have tried calling multiple times at different points in the day which have all ended in getting sent to voicemail. I understand if you guys are on a lunch break but I'm pretty sure that the receptionist could care less about their job. I wish I could talk about the doctors but if I can't even get into contact with them I'm just going to assume the worst due to the poor standards that the receptionist has given me. Overall if you like getting sent to voicemail repeatedly then this might be the place for you. However if you actually need to see a doctor I wouldn't recommend even calling this place.
Edit: Most disappointing office in all of Toronto. The Dr. said he'd get back to me within two weeks. it has now been almost TWO MONTHS. I am in pain every day, the phones are never answered and the Dr. is dismissive. I have called countless times, to try and talk to the doctor but to no avail. I just want a surgery referral, why does this take 7 weeks when I was told it would be 2? I’m not one to leave negative reviews especially for health care related services. However, I have been a client here for a few years now and have only ever had issues. I have emailed, submitted appointment requests on the website, and called on multiple occasions just to receive no reply. this happens every time and ends with me not receiving any medical care and just hoping for the best because I literally can not make an appointment (I’ve tried to make at least 10 appointments over the past three or four years and I’ve been seen twice due to the unfortunate reception - they’re super nice people they’re just either understaffed or really bad at being receptionists). It would be okay if this were a one or two time thing but I have literally never had an easy experience and all I want to do is make sure I’m healthy and can receive proper care or at least a response. I understand you may be super busy but that is no excuse for your clients. I’m beyond disappointed. My information is on file please just contact me ASAP I’m not even mad I just need an appointment because my throat frickin kills but I simply can not get in touch with anyone no matter what I do. I probably wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you are the healthiest alive and won’t actually be needing any medical attention ever.
My family has been coming here for almost 4 years. Dr. Chang is fantastic, and Melanie and all staff are super nice. Previously we were with Dr. Liu. She was amazing, but one staff member at that time was not so nice. I considered looking elsewhere, but thankfully all is great now. :)
Worked with Dr. Liu briefly, would hardly say what I felt/experienced in my "10 minutes, 1 topic" appointments was care but her medical recommendations seemed to be fine, though limited. Find it very weird that now that I am trying to get my medical records transferred they are unable to give me a cost or time estimate on when I can get them despite the fact that since Dr. Liu has left they have not been able to accept any new patients. So between that and the vagueness around when I'll recieve/have my records transferred I feel left stranded by the clinic and certainly not cared for. Plus the place is a nightmare to get to and does not have sufficient parking.
I highly recommend Dr Cara Flamer. She helped me through a tough time and provided a great treatment program designed specifically for my condition. It’s important to keep an open mind to achieve positive results. I can’t thank her enough.
Shockingly casual with patients' medical information! I was looking for a family doctor and was emailed a new patient package - along with the instruction to complete the forms and _email_ them back. Those forms included my personal contact information, OHIP number, detailed medical history, etc. Apparently, this medical office does not grasp the privacy risks that come with regular email. It is comparable to sending a postcard. When I pointed out to their management that they are actually cautioning patients not to send medical information by email themselves (in their email disclaimer), it turned out they are not warning people because of privacy concerns...but because their reception staff simply cannot answer them. Wow! This is not the place I would trust with treating my personal information confidentially. Is there no oversight?
Amazing service at this facility, and the lab technician cynthia was a true gem. For someone that is always scared of needles she reassured me, made me feel comfortable and provided exceptional service I didnt feel a thing. Definitely my go to Medical center
