I was there yesterday Dec 15/2025 for a late lunch/early dinner. The lady there had a warm smile. She was very friendly. Very kind. Unfortunately I forgot the spelling of her name. Very nice lady from Albania. She taught me how to say thank you in Albanian as she gave me massive gyro on a pita. Great size had a great amount of meat in it. They were not cheap on the meat at all. Lots of tomatoes and onions in there. We need our vegetables, the sauce and the best part was the little french fries in it. Oh my goodness, it was just like an explosion of flavour in my mouth!!! I was full afterward. Definitely didn't need anything else. Stellar customer service. The establishment was very clean as well. I will be back. SOON.
Definitely one of my favourite places to eat on Roncesvalles! Their meals are always served hot and fresh. Zoje provides amazing service—friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. Highly recommend!
The food is great but the portions seem very stingy, wish the takeout portions were better too..those plastic takeout portions are deceptive with the spacing
Zoje is amazing. Knows my order, starts getting it ready when she sees me come through the door. She is super friendly, and prepares excellent food! Souvlike is my go to for lunch in the area: cheap, delicious, quick, and friendly service. Perfect!
Amazing! Melt-in-your mouth juicy, flavourful, tender gyro. Great prices, big portion sizes, phenomenal customer service from Zoya, who was so kind and lovely. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stopped by Souv Like on Roncesvalles and had the pork poutine — unbelievable. The pork was juicy, tender, and full of flavour, and the whole dish came together perfectly. Easily one of the best poutines I’ve had in the city. Highly recommend checking this spot out!
Taste and price are pretty decent. I don’t think the staff really cared to pay attention to my order though. First, it was not clear whether they were talking to me or not. When asked about toppings I said everything but no tomatoes or olives. They then proceeded to add tomatoes and onions and stopped. I assumed maybe this one wasn’t mine. But then was asked about sauce. I then told them if that’s mine to did not want tomato. I wanted everything but tomato. They pulled out half the tomatoes and added nothing else to it. That’s twice they didn’t listen. Instead of making a deal about it. I paid for it and left to take out the remaining tomatoes. Cannot say I will return.
