Disappointing experience. Considering how costly it was to book, I would expect to see an acceptable level of maintenance and attention to guest experience. It is clear there has been a lack of attention to this location: - Overflowing garbage cans - Burnt out lightbulbs - Near-empty vending machines While the simulators themselves worked well, the overall experience was not worth the premium price I paid.
There’s no better spot out there for the golfer looking to work on their game. Trackman is great and lots of good courses in the setup. The spot is comfy with plenty of seating including couches to watch the tv while waiting for the game. I’ve spent many hours here, I love it.
Amazing spot, hitting mats were freshly changed, screens were much better quality than most I’ve been too. But more importantly, the tech was amazing and when I had reached out for support (even though it was a user issue), they remoted in and helped me right away. Can’t wait to go back!
My last visit to the Carlaw place was disappointing due to poor maintenance of the # 3 booth. The mat was all but worn through and the carpet surrounding it is lifted and uneven. The screen was rolled at the bottom making the display un readable for the most part. Booth #1 has similar issues. Not quite as bad. Most of the practice tees are cracked up and floppy. Bathroom could use a cleaning.
The simulators are pretty great. The toilet seat in the bathroom was coming off and there were no paper towels. Update: Tons of lag today after taking a shot. Halfway through the session it says connection to radar is not available. Can't figure out how to contact anybody. Have tried three different ways and no response yet. Oh wait, they're remote connecting now. Fixed it after I lost an hour. It still seems off somehow.
The facilities are amazing and staff are very nice, just hope the price could be friendlier as it is 15-50% higher than same Toronto area like Paramount and Sand Trap for peak hour and 25%higher for non-peak hour
I went there for an hour and 15 to test out the facility, and this is by far the best in the city. I booked the private bay and the instructions are very easy and smooth. Everything is done via the web. Once i arrived, there was a Trackman just like the one they are using at the major brand's club fitting centres sitting nicely and they are damm accurate! will be bringing my buddies soon!
