Stopped by for a quick lunch to try this place for the first time. We were not disappointed. Service was thoughtful and efficient. Food was excellent. We ordered the spicy seafood noodle soup and the bulgolgi bebimbap. They came with several small side dishes, all very tasty. If you like rich flavours, this a great place for you. I recommend the house hot sauce... It's not burn-your-mouth-to-oblivion hot, it's only got a slight kick, but very flavourful. 5% discount if you pay cash, so hit the ATM before you arrive. My only nit to pick with the experience was regarding how the noodle soup was served. The soup was certainly big enough to share, but the spoons for eating it were too small to use for putting our servings into our individual bowls. Also, the big bowl and our individual bowls were made of metal, which looks luxurious I suppose, but it makes the soup cool too quickly on a cold day. Nonetheless, these are very minor complaints, and since I can't give them a 4.9 overall, I'm happy to give them five stars for excellent food and service.
Food was just ordinary, nothing stands out. Service was not great. She was trying to collect my bowl when I was half way done.. then she realized I wasn’t done. The store was empty just 1 other table then us, she came minutes after we finished our meal to give us our bill. (Not close to closing time at all) I would’ve understood if they were closing or busy but that was not the case.
Cozy place for Korean food. Service is hit or miss depending which waitress, one is super friendly (I believe Christine), but there’s another lady who is cold & doesn’t even greet you Not a huge fan of the cold noodles but the rice cakes are highlights as they have the perfect texture & flavours
Typical Korean resto - food is okay. They have the usual suspects. I suppose if you don’t like any surprises, this place is quite safe. Place is clean and spacious.
I got bad experience in March 6.2025 Thursday! I got lunch over there total is $18.07 after tax, I paid by my credit card and I put $1.93 for tips making total is $20. But I found they had been charged me $20.48 in my credit card two days later! I am upset and don’t understand why they change the total without my permission So bad! Never come again! And hope every customer needs be careful when you pay by credit card!!!
Food is average (seafood pancake was ok, beef bulgogi was average) and because of high price, it makes me rate it lower. Staff is really not pleasant at all.. ended up $49 after tax for 2 dishes.
My friend and I went to dine-in almost 50 minutes before the closing time and the server at the counter refused to give us a table saying they are closing. We were so confused as there was a lot of time left and we just wanted to have a quick bite and not a full course meal, and asked her again for a table, but she kept on making faces and refused. We went there for the first time and surely won’t be going back. We couldn’t help but feel it was racist of her.
