Really enjoy this place. Food is great, service too. Also a very decent Open Mic on Wednesdays open for various acts like Comedy, Poetry, Music. Sure, there may be a performance that isn’t everyone’s fave but doesn’t reflect the restaurant itself. Overall it’s well run and majority of acts understand and do well.
After spending time with an Irish temporary worker boarding on Baldwin Street....our relationship became quite strained after he began attending "open mic nights". I am a fan of such artists as Louis CK and Dave Chappelle and enjoy dark sadistic humor. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I BEEN AS SHOCKED AND APPALLED AS I WAS WHEN I WITNESSED THE TYPE OF "COMEDY" BEING PERFORMED AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT THAT MY NOW EX BOYFRIEND HAD RECORDED ON HIS PHONE. I have ended my relationship with the former love of my life....an Irish temporary foreign worker...and frankly, I don't even think I want to go back to Baldwin Street.
Super cozy and chill spot for drinks and small bites with friends! The atmosphere is great and the server and owner were so kind. It was a great stop after dinner at a nearby restaurant, giving a chance for the night to continue with more drinks and food. Will definitely be back again to try some of the other drinks (super extensive cocktail menu) and food (lots of interesting korean fusion options!)
I love this place. People are great, food's great, atmosphere's great. And the washrooms are clean. 10 out of 10 for the Den. Oh, and they've got a fun open mic on Wednesdays at 7:30pm.
The owner was very kinda and the food came extremely fast. The happy hour 5-7 is a great deal, especially the kimchi fries which are a really good portion and super crispy. We got 3 happy hour dishes to share and it was more than enough for 2 people. Would love to come back sometime
Very friendly atmosphere. A lot of fun programs throughout the week. Yummy bites and plates to share. A little bit to everyone. A hidden gem you must try!!!
We were walking on Baldwin not knowing where to go when we spotted their chalkboard sign that was absolutely too cute to ignore. As we went inside we were warmly greeted and promptly sat. The menus the vibe, the staff, and the overall experience was nothing short of superb. I am not surprised this place has a 5 star overall and hope this place gets the recognition it deserves. To the owner I wish you nothing but the best and expect to see me again soon. This place is a MUST go if you’re looking for a fun night out with friends.
