Don’t believe the bad reviews. Not sure if it’s a competitor or someone with a grudge but I had a great experience. Amazing value, high quality product and the service was very friendly and professional. Got some pretty cool lights for our kitchen and dining room for an amazing deal. Would highly recommend!
I was looking for a specific light from Bethel International, and I reached out to Lighting originals. I only dealt with them over the phone, however they were absolutely professional and helped me out, answering every question. They secured a great price on the item, and worked with me to arrange the pick up from the supplier’s loading dock. Subas was really amazing to work with, quick to respond and checked on me to ensure everything went smooth with pick up. Payment was smooth too! I would totally buy from them again, I will be calling them again soon to help me pick out some matching fixtures. A1 +++ team to work with!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. This is a garbage company with garbage ethics. Lamps purchased a year ago, was told they were “in stock”. They weren’t. So after numerous months of calling and them telling me they “should be in next week” I cancelled the order and asked for my money back. Magically they were in stock that very second and ready to ship. I said fine ship them. I gave my address, well the address was not one they can ship to they said. I said I no longer want them and to refund my money. Months later I’m still trying to get my money back.
Lighting Originals has a great number of fixtures. An expert helped us to find the best choice for our room, with facts and practicality, and no pressure. They found us an electrician that installed our fixture the next day. We are very happy; the fixture is great, with a wonderful quality of light for our room.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! They are known for charging you for items that are not in stock or discontinued- charging you immediately (instead of when shipped) and never sending you the fixture or refunding you the money. We were told we would get a refund right away (on 10/10) after our order of $575.00 on 10/7. It's now 11/1 and still no refund. They charge you and hold your money for a negligible and unjustified amount of time. This company needs to be reported.
I don't see why I would go anywhere else to buy lights. Thank you Subas you are one of the kindest most helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My order was a bit complicated but Subas took the time to understand exactly what I wanted for a large 12'x12' track light system, he made the ordering process simple, gave me a very fair price and delivered with in the project time frame. I am very happy to have found his company. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favour and call Subas at Lighting Originals.
I have used Cartwright for a number of years and have usually had a lovely experience there. Which is why I am SO DISAPPOINTED in my last two visits. On two separate occasions, I have entered the store, walked 3 laps of the entire store without so much as being approached by a representative. The first time this happened, I got irritated and left. The second time, I was in desperate need of a light fixture. I approached the front counter where I was glared at by a short dark haired older woman. She looked at me, and immediately looked away. As she started to walk away, I asked if I could please get some assistance regarding a light. This woman pawned me off on a colleague "Cindy" who walked over to the fixture with me. Grabbed the number - making no effort to chat with me. I had inquired about a fan and she walked me over to the section saying, 'nope - guess we don't have what you want'. Not in the slightest bit interested in helping me find something similar. Once we returned to the counter and she looked up the particular light I was searching for, and informed me that it was not in stock and it would be at least 4-6 weeks before it was shipped to the store. There were no other options given to me. There weren't any suggestions of similar fixtures. I asked about a smaller size in the same fixture, and she replied, as if I was an inconvenience, "No - 4-6 weeks". And she just stood there and stared at me. again, I was not given any suggestions of any other options. It was as if she wanted to lose the sale. There is a complete lack of customer service here. I was not expecting this as I have been a loyal customer for years. Though, it only takes one circumstance for that to change. This store has not only lost my business but the business of my friends, family and co-workers.
