I visited the UPPAbaby Hub Service Center & Showroom in Toronto today for a Complimentary Car Seat Check & Education with a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, and I truly cannot express how impressed and grateful I am for the exceptional service I received. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by TJ, who immediately made me feel welcome and supported. She started by having me complete a short form to understand the model of my car and the specific UPPAbaby car seat I needed help installing. TJ began the session by walking me through child fit, explaining every part of the car seat, its safety features, and the correct usage. She used a floor model similar to mine for demonstration, which made everything incredibly easy to understand. She then showed me how to securely place a weighted baby doll into the car seat, going over every safety feature once more. Being able to actually see how to secure the baby doll was unbelievably helpful. What I appreciated most was that TJ didn’t just demonstrate. She encouraged me to try placing and securing the baby doll myself. This hands-on practice helped me apply everything I had just learned, and TJ provided immediate, supportive feedback throughout. Her explanations were thorough, clear, and reassuring, and she answered every single one of my questions with patience and expertise. After covering all the safety features and learning how to properly secure a baby in the car seat, TJ joined me at my car to check the installation. She showed me how to correctly install the car seat and how to assess whether it was properly secured. She even checked the manufacturing date of my car seat and made sure I knew how long it would be safe to use. The entire session was incredibly educational, informative, and confidence-boosting. I left feeling empowered, well-informed, and genuinely cared for. I truly appreciate all the time, effort, and dedication TJ put into helping me today. She is a true ambassador of family-first values, and UPPAbaby is incredibly lucky to have someone like her representing the brand. Highly, highly recommended.
I purchased an UPPAbaby stroller and PiggyBack board in 2023. The products themselves are high-quality and well-designed. However, I have experienced some issues: The PiggyBack board has been very stiff since purchase and has become harder to operate over time, making daily use challenging, especially as a single parent of two young children. The stroller frame has some movement, which the manufacturer says is normal, but it affects usability in combination with the board. I contacted UPPAbaby support under the 3-year warranty. While they are responsive, the process requires multiple videos and repeated demonstrations, which is very difficult to manage on my own. I am posting this review while my case with UPPAbaby support is still ongoing. I plan to update this review once the issue is resolved.
I called Uppababy last week and requested a same day appointment to help install my uppababy car seat. The Leaside Uppababy team, and specifically Abdul and Maddie, could not have been more accommodating. I was given an appointment immediately. I attended the store. Both Maddie and Abdul were professional and friendly. They instructed me on how to properly seatbelt our baby in the car seat as well as installing it in my car. Because of this service, I will not only buy more Uppababy product, I will recommend it to family and friends.
