There is nothing one wants more than to have a decent experience for a homegrown successful service that benefits everyone. Unfortunately this was not the case here. I arrived there on a Sunday at 4 50 pm for foot (30 m) and body (30) for 65.00. What was included in the specials on their signage was a 15 minute foot soak before the foot massage. I started at 5 pm. Ended before 6 pm. The gentleman was yelling and answering his phone during the session speaking loudly to his girlfriend. He was hard on my legs and I asked him to lighten up. I bruised anyway. He ended early before time and then they asked for more money claiming I started earlier. Take a time stamp pic of the time you start and the signage cost. They demanded a tip very bullying and miscalculated the HST. They offered me bottled water and then took it back. Will not be going back. There were a few inappropriate sexual lite comments made but I will let that go. I got out of there alive. I will not be going back. Take heed.
The best foot massage I’ve ever had. Muscles along my ankle I didn’t even know were tender got deeply worked and made perfect. Highly recommend, especially after a long few days exploring Toronto by foot. I went for a full body massage later and it inspired me to cancel my monthly subscription massage and find a spot like this back home.
One of the worst massages I’ve ever had. I chose the 30min foot and 30 min body massage. The foot massage was amazing. Then was put into a room cluttered with a massage table, divan and what looked like their personal effects. Not clean as in the photos. Then the worst; a back, leg and arm massage without oil. Just through a sheet over my back. He pinched my shoulder muscles and rubbed the inside of my arm so much it has bruised. Would definitely not go back there. Such a shame because it had such good reviews.
I’ve been coming to VIVI for a few years now and getting what are easily the best massages of my life, and at a price that is less than half of fancier places on the block. Yes, it’s a little rough around the edges: people audibly talking, walking around, taking phone calls etc. just outside the private rooms, and the space isn’t the most polished. But if you get what you pay for, I would happily accept these relatively minor things for the great quality of service at this price. Staff are all friendly and smiley as can be (which is saying something given that I usually show up during the last hour of their day) and will happily take you right away as a walk-in. The masseuses also know muscle anatomy well and always seem able to sense where you have the most tension. This is the place to go if you prioritize a strong, actually effective massage to relieve soreness over a relaxing “spa day” type of vibe and treatment.
I’ve visited Vivi Spa many times. I’ve never had a bad massage, or attendant I didn’t like. It is a very clean and relaxing place to spend an hour or more. The management go out of their way to make sure that you leave happy.
Great massage at half the price from fancier places around the corner. Very professional, they don't try and make small talk, and they adjusted the pressure during the whole session. My very tense body felt a whole lot better ! UPDATE : Went back a second time. Experience was more than disappointing. During my foot massage, 2 employees were in the next stall just yapping away and talking loudly. When I went in the room for the full body, masseuse's phone kept ringing loudly (6 times) and at some point he just decided to answer his personal calls while I'm lying on the table half naked.
Very disgusting place. The young girl here got me sick, I don't think she washes her hands. Now I have to take time off work to see my doctor regularly. I'm pretty sure most of them aren't even licensed to do massage.
