Good massage, awful costumer service. They misinformed me about the pricing. Said it'll cost 60 bucks for 30 minutes but charged me $90, denying the miscommunication. Won't go again. Shameful and small behavior.
I'm truly disappointed ☹️. I requested an RMT and was assured there was one, only to have an uncomfortable experience with the therapist. Despite feeling exposed and uncomfortable, I discovered he was a student, not an RMT, which left me feeling misled and disappointed.
If your insurance is with Sun Life, you need to let them know specifically to get a different address to use for your claim. The massage I received was so so, and the therapist name on the receipt doesn’t seem to match with the therapist that gave me the massage… Overall it was a strange situation to deal with and I don’t think I will return.
Stumbled upon this place trying to find a last minute massage near my home for the evening - my massage was great, atmosphere was relaxing and I felt well taken care of. Only downside is they don’t do direct billing but I can live with that, so great service all in all and I’ll be back!
Its an in expensive massage place with 2 male massuues working there. The music and atmosphere is just okay but the guys do a good job in giving you a relaxing massage.
The reason for the two stars is that the massage I got was fairly competent, so you're reasonably assured to get an okay massage here. The reason for the three missing stars is that this was one of the stranger massage experiences I have ever had. My boyfriend booked a last minute couples' massage for a Sunday evening since we'd had a long week and weekend, were heading out of town in several days, and felt like a couples' massage would be a soothing and romantic thing we could do together. Well, upon showing up, they asked if we were the ones who made an appointment. I was the first to enter and reiterated we had booked a couples' massage, which he seemed to understand. He guided us both to a room in back with one bed, where he left me, then pulled my boyfriend to a room all the way in front with two beds that wasn't heated - nearly as cold as the outside. My massage therapist entered my room, and I - just trying to go with the flow here - thought to myself, ya know, this is only one massage, I guess my boyfriend will have a massage simultaneously in another room. Not exactly a couples' massage, but whatever. Not exactly what was happening. Another patron had entered while we were there, who got the only other heated room, and my boyfriend was put in the front room and told to wait, and wait, and wait, until he went to ask what exactly was going on here, when he was told again to wait, to which he said, no, he wanted to know what was going on. He was explained that they couldn't do a couples' massage because the only room with two beds wasn't heated (where they had sat him, presumably waiting for a massage), then they denied that he even requested a couples' massage, then when finally admitting this, they told him he needed to tell them that we wanted it in the same room - this somehow was his responsibility to explain to them what a couples' massage is. Later on, I almost wanted to say "what exactly do you think a couples' massage is?", but preferred just to get the hell out of here once my therapist was done with me. My boyfriend never got a therapist - I think they expected him to just go to mine after my massage had finished. Needless to say, he declined. Fortunately, the nearest bar to get a beer away from this mess of a massage studio was downstairs, where we happily went. So, the massage itself was fine. Not the best - not the worst. But, it was possibly the least relaxing environment I have ever had a massage in, including on a busy boat in the Mekong river or on a busy beach in Mexico. The nightclub downstairs was roaring and I could hear the music clearly from the massage room. I felt kind of bad for the massage therapist since he had no idea what the hell was going on. The owner or manager disturbed my massage in the beginning to try to pull me into the unheated room. There was no music, no white noise machine, no aroma in the room. Just a room above a nightclub with the music blaring. To top it all off, they charged us the single massage price even though they weren't able to honour the couples' massage reservation, and their credit card machine was supposedly broken (shady). My boyfriend only had USD in his pocket from recent trips south and paid a $45 charge with $40 USD, which they happily accepted (they ended up with about $53). Because I can't blame the massage therapist for this ridiculous experience, I went to an ATM and got a tip for him. The owner was waiting at the front door seemingly for me to come back and perhaps intercept the tip, but I went upstairs and made sure I gave the therapist the tip directly. In any case, weird, weird, weird. We will not be coming back - that's for sure.
