I'm sorry Goutez but your butter croissants have gone downhill. I bought 3 of them and no crunch, no flakiness ☹️ Very mediocre, could've been from a grocery store. Best in the city when you opened, can you resuscitate them
One of the best in the city. Our new ‘go to’ place and local!!! Amazing pastries that kick start a weekend just right and big crusty sourdough. Love it.
Oh oh oh …. This was a find! First time ordering sweet and savory treats from this cafe! And OH I will be back. Flavour explosions, flaky and crunchy, caramelized and expertly sugared creations. Do not skip the opportunity to get out to this delight of a cafe! Sorry no photos because I ate everything before thinking!
First time visiting this bakery shop but heard a lot of good things about their croissants and pastries in general. Needless to say, I am thoroughly impressed with everything! The almond croissant and raspberry croissants were delicious! They were crispy and buttery, just like in Paris! The person at the counter was also friendly and informative. Will come back to try other items and their coffee!
French bakery with excellent baked goods and sourdough bread. The croissant and sourdough baguette were both excellent. They have plenty of treats that are very well balanced, not overly sweet. They also have some savoury options like quiche (which was great). They make an ingenious mini birthday cake that might serve 1-2 which we have bought for friends, and they have larger cakes and take orders. Would recommend stopping in. Check their hours though they aren’t open all days of the week. I didn’t find the seating area very welcoming or comfortable. More of a pick up spot. Very glad to have it in the neighbourhood.
After seeing the Goûter stand at the Eglinton Farmers Market, I placed an order online for the following weekend. I ordered a box of 6 croissants which is currently a flat price of $19.50 (no tax, but additional charges depending on what you select as your 6 +delivery) on their website. P/u was fast and easy - the employee was prompt to get my order and was welcoming. The croissants themselves were really good; I got the raspberry, Nutella and butter croissants. They were warm, flaky and the ones with filling were stuffed full! Definitely one of the better croissants I’ve tried in the area. I highly recommend checking them out!
I came 3 times at Goûter. First time they mixed up my order and I only found out once at home. Second and third time (several months apart) I got chocolate croissants and pastries that were not made from the same day I bought them for same price than fresh ones without telling me: you receive a dry pastry not super tasty... Not the standing I was expecting. I will not come back.
