Friendly service, great patio for eating with our dogs and delicious food. On top of all that, I accidentally left my handbag on the patio and when I realized it a few hours later, I called and they had kept it for me behind the counter. I really appreciated their kindness! We will definitely return… thank you again!
Absolutely one of my favorite cafes on Bayview. Everything bakes freshly everyday. Yummy pastries and drink and breakfasts! Cakes are soooo yummy and best dessert for events.
I have always thought la cigogne has thebest cakes on Bayview and I had all my cakes from there.Last Sunday I got one called Opera served on Sunday. It was horrible, I got so embarrassed and apologized to the guests that we were celebrating graduation. Anyways I told to the store and the lady told me that she was going to tell to the chef. My understanding is the cakes are not fresh but previously frozen.
Stopped in here after a morning stroll with a friend for a coffee and pastry. I had a double espresso with almond croissant. The espresso was well made and the coffee tasted excellent nut i would the croissant very sweet. My friend had a regular coffee and pastry and he also found it to be too sweet and coffee very good. Will defiantly try this place again !
Food is normally good, I was turned away quite rudely by an employee there at 6:15 when the cafe is supposed to close at 7. Doesn't make sense to treat repeat customers this way
Very poor customer service, in the store today, spoke on the phone with the manager, could not order and pay for a gift and delivery: "you must go on line"...modern world ! I was ready to pay all costs without any worry but no... "you must go on line! "...and I am not going!
Had the Mikado (lemon tart w berry filling) and almond croissant - both super delicious and quite large, too! Definitely would recommend for an afternoon coffee break on their patio
