I’ve been going to BFT for over a year now and I’m so happy I joined. All of the trainers there are great. They are so supportive and welcoming, and they’re definitely a big reason why I’ve continued to go! I’ve also made some friends and it’s so nice to walk in and see friendly faces. Jeremy is always motivating me to lift heavier, or work harder in workouts and that extra push is necessary sometimes! Harper has helped me correct my form on deadlifts (and many other exercises) and I can now do them without any pain which is huge! BFT’s coaches and the community are what sets it apart from other gyms. Also, there’s a dog there sometimes, and if that doesn’t make your day better, you’re crazy.
Never did I think I would be excited to go to the gym 5x a week. But BFT has made it easy for me to be motivated to attend the class and achieve the structured workouts goals which have led me to be a fitter more confident me. All of the coaches at BFT Canary district take the time to make sure you know what you are doing and they are always helpful when I questions. Jade, Haley, Harper, Sarah and Jeremy thank you for everything you do to support us all. Ben
Unsafe, Unprofessional, and a Total Disappointment!! This gym has become a joke. Jade, the manager, lets her dog run around freely while people are mid-workout. It’s not just once or twice—this happens regularly. The dog weaves between equipment, chews on things, and leaves hair everywhere. It’s a complete safety hazard for both members and the dog itself. What’s worse? Jade does absolutely nothing. She strolls around like it’s totally normal to have a hyperactive dog tearing through a workout space. And if you dare bring it up, she gets defensive and gives attitude—as if the members are the problem for wanting a clean, safe environment. Meanwhile, the equipment is falling apart and clearly neglected. This place used to be one of the best in the area. Now? It’s careless, chaotic, and rundown. I don’t know what Justin, the owner, is thinking letting it spiral like this, but clearly, the priority isn’t member safety or experience anymore. Bottom line: this place is not worth your money. It’s downgraded, poorly managed, and just plain unsafe.
At BFT, all you need to do is show up and follow the program — the results will follow. Coach Harper is fantastic! She consistently offers smart, practical tips to improve my form and push me past my plateaus.
The best workout classes in the area! All the coaches are amazing, the community here is super supportive. Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay motivated and get in shape!
BFT has truly changed my life. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. When I first started, I didn’t know just how much I needed this kind of support, structure, and community. I feel stronger in my body, clearer in my mind, and lighter in my heart. The workouts challenge me, but they also empower me. Every drop of sweat is a reminder of how far I’ve come. Mentally, I’m more focused. Emotionally, I feel grounded. Physically, I’m the strongest I’ve ever been, and it’s not just about muscles, it’s about confidence. BFT isn’t just a gym. It’s a family. It’s a space that pushes you to become the best version of yourself — and I’m so grateful for it.
Very friendly staff, the classes are engaging and decently challenging. Even though you're in a room full of people, there's always someone walking around to make sure you have the right form. Highly recommend this spot to anyone considering to join!
