The space itself is quite nice, but their membership options and lack of flexibility definitely outweigh the pros. Prices and policies seem to change throughout the year, and they're not accommodating at all when it comes to offering alternatives. The only option to join is to prepay for a full year, which makes it inconvenient for anyone who needs more flexibility.
he equipment is clean and well-maintained, there’s a great mix of machines and free weights, and the space never feels overcrowded. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and always make you feel welcome.
Clean and spacious gym. The trainers are very knowledgeable and the staff is so nice ! Training here is fun and the community is welcoming. The gym is easily accessible off the subway at Bloor , making traveling to the gym in the Winter months an ease. Thankful for IF Bloor St :)
So grateful this club opened up, it has been incredibly motivating to have a spare I enjoy for my workouts. Fantastic atmosphere, clean, friendly staff and community. I can finally leave the dreaded corporate gyms and unequipped condo gyms behind.
Be very careful before joining this gym. The owner - Antonio - is following unethical business practices by charging different prices to different people, at the same time for the same service. Whether you are an existing member or considering a new membership, just know that you're paying a vastly different price for the same service at the same time than someone else. The first time I went to this gym 1.5 months ago, the price for the open gym was $135+ tax and no-excuses membership was $220+ tax. I signed-up for the more expensive 4 session PT package instead, for personal training. After completing that package, today when I went in asking for an open gym only membership, prices had jumped to $270+ tax and $400+ tax for the no-excuses membership. I asked 2 other members how much they were paying for the open gym (without PT) and one of them was paying $160 while another was paying $200 even though both of them had joined approx at the same time (so it's not as if they had an intro offer or something like that). Antonio deliberately doesn't publish a price list even though the gym has been in existence for a year, so that he can charge different prices to different people or claim that prices have changed suddenly or that open gym prices tied to PT sessions are different etc....a whole bunch of excuses that can be made on the fly. He will also never provide you a written agreement with terms and conditions on what was agreed upon after you sign-up for a membership (for e.g. when does your gym membership expire, how many sessions did you purchase etc). And he tries to rush your PT sessions so that you consume them quickly and then have to renew. All in all, I walked away from this gym owing to these unethical business practices. It is not ok to charge different prices to different people at the same time for the same service, not publish price lists and not have anything in writing when a deal closes. The gym is nice but they follow unethical practices.
