As a new Torontonion, I had been looking for a reputable place to board my cat as I travel quite a bit. Visited a couple of places butcould never leave my darling furry friend there. However, when I called Hound and Kitty, I did ask to visit and was welcomed. When I met Elisabeth, and saw the place, I felt comfortable and knew my Bellebelle would be comfortable. Elisabeth is really experienced in taking care of her guests (our furry friends) she loves and cares for Bellebelle so much, I feel it and see it, she treats her guest with such tender loving care in all aspects. Sends photos and little texes of how they're doing. She speaks so softly and kindly to them, no wonder my Bellebelle loves going there. I highly recommend Hound and Kitty to all cat owners looking for a great place to leave their furry friend! Thanks so much Elisabeth .
I would give more stars if I could! Hound and Kitty is the best place you can find in the city! Elizabeth took such a good care of my cat and she's so knowledgeable and patience with every single fur baby there! The booking process is very easy and fast. Price is reasonable and the best part is the environment. I couldn't find any cat hotel that has open space and Hound and Kitty is the only place where my cat can play freely. Elizabeth is very knowledgeable and provide the best environment based on each cat's needs and I get regular photo update too. She's the only person that I trust to host my cat. Highly recommend!
I have tried other pet sitting services in that past and can confidently say that Hound and Kitty has been the best experience I have had so far, bar none! As an anxious cat mom, I am always nervous to leave my furry baby behind. From my very first conversation with Elizabeth, she made sure to explain the benefits of cage-free cat sitting, went into details about her vetting process of accepting guests - including their temperament and health/vaccination status - and also took the time to address any questions or concerns I had. For my cat's first stay, Elizabeth took extra time to help her feel comfortable and sent me many photos and updates throughout my time away. My cat had an awesome first stay at Hound and Kitty during Christmas 2023 and has returned a few times since! She always makes new kitty friends and loves playing with them, she seems to really benefit from the feline socialization as she is a solo cat in my home. Elizabeth's commitment to and love for animals is evident through her kind and caring persona. She is very knowledgeable on pet care and treats all of her furry guests as her own. I am so greatful to have found Hound and Kitty and recommend the service to any pet parent looking for top tier, home-like pet care!
It was our first time boarding our cat. We were going on a long trip and were pretty anxious and nervous. Elizabeth was really helpful, understood our situation, and patiently answered all our questions! She's very thorough and knowledgeable. She took great care of our cat, who has always been quite shy. After staying there and befriending some furry friends, our cat has become a bit more relaxed and social. Thanks a bunch for the wonderful experience! Highly recommend this place ?
Elizabeth was really a life saver when my partner and I had to unexpectedly go out of town. I texted her late on a Wednesday, and she helped me sort everything to drop my kittens off the next morning. She made the whole process very simple! Leaving my young kitties for the first time was nerve wracking, but she did a great job at explaining how she integrates new pets, and totally put me at ease. We were updated with lots of photos during our 4 days away - the cats seemed to be totally comfortable in her home, and with her. I absolutely recommend Hound and Kitty! We will be booking with her when we go away next.
Elizabeth at Hound & Kitty is absolutely phenomenal! She was amazing with our cats. They immediately loved her. One of my cats is very shy and anxious and he felt very quickly comfortable with Elizabeth. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and I would 1000% trust her with my cats again!
