I'm very pleased with their service: I think their pricing is reasonable for the quality of services they provide. I had five art prints framed, delivered and installed to my condo downtown. The staff were very friendly every step of the way- starting from the initial consult down to the installation service company who they partner with. I've always wanted to install art in my home- but had never actually done it; so I was feeling very out-of-my-depth. Toronto Image Works really went out of their way to translate my vague vision into something tangible.
I live in the US, but wanted to give a surprise gift to someone in Canada. I found Toronto Image Works to be fantastic to work with - very responsive and helpful, especially when I learned that the image I wanted put on a metal print would need to be either a custom size or part of it cut off. The pricing was reasonable, the quality outstanding, and I would absolutely work with them again! Special shout out to Oskar, who kindly fielded my numerous questions :)
One of the last places in the province to get film developed. I've gotten both slide and color neg developed here, 35mm, 120, 4x5 etc. Amazingly professionally, reasonably priced development, you can see the care they take in handling the film negatives.
Like some other reviewers a] I almost never leave reviews, and b] I've been coming to TIW for decades. But this place deserves to be recognized as the superb place it is, in all of its departments (though I must add that Dan Ebert's skill and patience are beyond all measure)---and always has been.
Great photo lab. The staff is helpful and friendly whether you’re a seasoned photographer or beginner. They’ll explain everything to you thoroughly. Fun fact: this place was launched by Edward Burtynsky.
Excellent service. Just ordered a print from across the globe and it was picked up just a few hours later. Good personal service with email and phone. Highly recommended!
Very frustrating experience. The staff were impatient and not helpful in showing standardized sizes for prints. Don't go here if you need a little help / suggestions as they take no interest in helping you and expect you to know exactly what you want done and what sizes you would like. Really disappointed with how my prints turned out. Waste of $170 and a lot of time :(. I am reprinting them in a smaller size at a different print shop
