Just wrapped up my intro offer and explored several classes offered. After my first session, Emily reached out directly to see how my body felt and to check in. It was such a nice touch! I’ve left each session feeling stronger and more confident in the movements/poses. The instructors take the time to make adjustments to your body to ensure you’re getting the most out of the movements and avoid injury which is something I haven’t experienced at other studios around the city.

I have been doing Pilates at Boomerang since it opened in 2011 and with Alison for close to 8 years before that. Boomerang offers a beautiful work out space which is very well equipped but most importantly they offer an incredibly warm, inviting and friendly environment where everyone is made to feel welcome. I have had the opportunity to take classes with almost all of the teachers. Whether in the studio or on-line the teachers are amazing with each offering their own spin on whole body workouts. I highly recommend giving Boomerang a try.

I started classes at Boomerang about two years ago. I have never had such little body pain, in my day to day life. The classes are varied and have changed my relationship with my body and how it responds. The knowledgeable teachers, teach every step of the way and as a curious person who has all of the questions, this is simply invaluable. Thank-you from the very core of my being ;).

The best reason to go to Boomerang Pilates is to get personal, tailored and very technical training. Their program philosophy is based on exercising correctly and moving smartly, not just exercising to burn calories. Actually on the flip side, you may only burn about 100 cals in a class but you’ll learn all about your bod and what you’re doing to it. Located inside the Roncesvalles United Church it can be a bit tricky to find and it's old, of course, but the class schedule is impressive for such a small space and drop-in prices are some of the lowest that we've seen in TO. We did the The Made to Move class that focuses on lengthening & strengthening your muscles, increase your body awareness, improve your daily movement habits, and learning to walk, squat and hang-out safely so the movements were very slow and methodical, not a challenging class but good for learning body awareness.

Thank you Sarah! I'm so glad we've been part of your journey. We may provide the map, but you're the one doing all the hard work to be pain-free. Yay for you!
