Highly recc. Came here after a terrible experience with an online plant delivery place that I will not name. Super helpful in the store, you can tell they care about the plants and take pride in what they do. Lots of varieties and took their time to help me pick this baby BOP. Delivery just came today, thorough communication and the delivery guy went above and beyond to bring it up to my unit seeing how heavy this was. Will definitely go back for more plants!!!!
Hate to do this but facts are facts. We bought 5 holly pencil plants in addition to other plants. 4 of them are completely dead, while the 5th may have some life with effort. Contacted the store, they said there is no warranty but they would look into it and get back to me if anything could be done, that was 2 weeks ago. FYI, had I bought these at Home Depot or any other box store I would have got a 1 year warranty. I tried to support the small local shop, lesson learned....
I love this place. Let me start off by saying that I have little to no knowledge about plants (much less keeping them alive) and that I came across Promise Supply purely by chance. I was gifted a fiddle fig tree and needed to purchase a considerably large planter. After calling around to several stores in Toronto, Promise was the only place that had a selection of large planters in stock. When I arrived at the store, I knew immediately this wasn’t your average plant/garden store. Think of Promise as less of a store and more as a cozy urban jungle in the middle of Roncy! During my initial visit, George patiently (and probably painstakingly) explained the difference between planter and pots with drainage. He also found a suitable planter that was within my price range. Even after this, George took over 20 minutes chatting with me and troubleshooting my tree to ensure it didn’t die within the first week of being in my home. The store and its staff made such a positive impression on me that I returned the next day with my friends to show them the place! Again, George spent over 45 minutes telling us about each plant we awed over. Ultimately, I decided to purchase another plant and redecorate my space. I’m now the proud owner of a white bird of paradise. Since these visits, I’ve been to Promise Supply more than 4 times in the past two weeks. Each time I’ve visited, I was asking question after question and George has been happy to answer. He’s never been judgemental of my lack of knowledge nor has he been pushy to make me buy something. He’s been an excellent host. From these experiences, I’ve gained a newfound appreciation for plants and quite frankly, it’s an interest that’s brought a considerable relaxation to my life. While I haven’t been to a ton of plant stores, I have noticed that the majority of them spend money on decorating the space rather than on showcasing their products. This is NOT the case at Promise. One of the key factors that differentiates Promise Supply from other plant stores is that each person working there LOVES plants. Each time I have popped in, the leaves have been green, vibrant and, appear, even to a complete novice, extremely healthy. During my second visit I watched as a staff member was wiping down each leaf individually! George also advised me that they had lights specifically manufactured for the store to ensure each plant’s success. You get a sense that the staff want to educate you on plants and aren’t in it purely for making a sale. They want to build community! I realize this is an extremely long and drawn out review but I am impressed with Promise Supply’s consistent professionalism, relaxed vibe, and kindness in helping me get obsessed over plants.

Purchased a 10 foot Gingko tree for my front yard. The tree came within a few days and was of good value and quality. Very happy with the product, price and service. Highly recommend.
This place is so cute, I can’t believe I walked by for years without popping in. Lovely lil selection and appreciated the person working who helped me find some great lil beauties that are compatible with my low light setup! Will be back heaps of times no doubt
