Well, years later I still have cartilage sticking out. I'm not even bothered that my nostrils don't look symmetrical anymore. It's the unnatural looking piece of cartilage that I now have to cover up with heavy makeup for the rest of my life is what really bothers me. This Doctor tried to fix it once for me (covered by OHIP), but sadly no luck with that surgery either. So he just told me the skin on my nose was so thin he would not operate on me again. So here I am left with this unnatural looking cartilage. Oh well, at least I'm not dead or injured.
