Awesome place. Lots of rare finds and very friendly staff. In particular, you must meet Henry - the resident cat. I picked up a unique find here - tempted to get others but... ran out before I got more :)
Swing by for books but attracted by our top rated cat manager among Trt bookstores. Considerable lit collection-- cannot resist picking some. Looking forward to more books on philosophy btw
There is no better place to be than David Mason Books. It's always a wonderful browse, and I never leave empty-handed. I am especially thankful to Norm for his excellent service, fine sense of humour, and in-depth knowledge. And, most of all, heartfelt thanks to David for his thoughtful tutelage over many, many years, and for taking time out of his day to speak and reminisce with me.
Well, I was excited to take my unlimited budget and love of old books and see where it led me, but discrimination seems to be the theme of this place. Shame. PS: The mandate was "have a plan in place." I don't get how it turned into "mandatory slave muzzles and medical experimentation." Please explain.
I had the pleasure of bringing some guests to David Mason Books and everyone was blown away. The owners are kind and so incredibly knowledgeable. The books and ephemera are fantastic with something for everyone on the shelves. There are some really hard to find books here and they are all so beautiful. Always add on a few minutes to give Henry the cat some affection. If you don't find him, he will find you. I will be back again and again!
