One of my favourite places in the city. Me and my business partner regularly go. The oysters are top notch. All of the staff are fabulous and are just fun to be around. Great vibes! We've now hired Island Oyster to cater two of our parties for our business, and they did a phenomenal job! Will definitely keep hiring them in the future!
Super fresh oysters and seafood. The wait staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about oysters. Gave us great introductions on the dishes and recommendations on the choice of oysters. Will definitely go back.
Amazing food and amazing service! I've been in a couple times, and have been blown away each time. The seafood amazingly tastes like it was caught that day, and the dishes are a perfect combination between classic and innovative. The ambience of the restaurant also offers a warm escape from this city, making for a perfect dine-out experience. I would highly recommend!
Quality all around - have been in twice now and both visits were excellent. The oysters are delicious, and so is the rest of the food. The scallops with bacon dashi were unbelievably good. Wine list is awesome value, with a good selection at very reasonable prices. Most importantly for me, the service is welcoming and friendly. I was with someone who hadn't eaten oysters before, and our server was very knowledgable and more than happy to explain the menu to us and make a recommendation. Awesome spot for date night or to catch up with friends. Will be back for sure.
This gem of a place was an accidental find. We were in Toronto for an event and were craving oysters and fresh seafood on our way back home to Whitby. Google showed this place and so we immediately made a reservation and went to have a fun date night dinner. Amazing, fresh, delicious oyster options and seafood dishes. We ordered a second round of oysters after having a dozen oysters. The Oysters were as great as they were in the east coast. Our favourites in ranking from what we loved the absolute best: Raspberry pt, Irish point, chebooktook, island emerald, unsealed, Fanny bay. All of it was delicious. We also tried the prawn rolls, scallops and tuna crudo - all of it was sooo good. They have an extremely talented chef. You definitely don’t want to miss the prawn rolls that’s served on anchovy butter toasted brioche buns. I also personally enjoyed the scallops - it had a Smokey flavour and the mushrooms were also delicious. Needless to say; we’ll be back. Keep up the great work. The food, ambiance and service is worth the trek back.
This place has a great selection of oysters, wine and great seafood dishes. Locally owned and stellar staff. One of my favorite local spots with a seasonal menu and always on point flavor. The in-house hot sauce is perfectly balanced for seafood
So yummy! Authentic place and really great service:) Great oysters, the albacore tuna was delicious and the prawn rolls were yummy :) Can’t wait to go back
