I had a great experience here. All of the front desk staff was friendly and Ada did an amazing job with my dermal filler (lips), she was very knowledgable and skillful and truly eased any apprehension I had. Looking forward to my next visit.
Wouldn’t recommend the estheticians here. They speak with a level of authority that feels more “doctor-adjacent” than appropriate for a facial clinic. I’ve seen dermatologists and medical estheticians for severe acne since I was 15, so I’ve experienced a wide range of clinics. I was given a free facial here and decided to give it a try, but I could tell right away it wasn’t for me. While I was waiting, the esthetician was heavily pushing a product to another client in the waiting area. I know clinics get kickbacks on this product and she repeatedly called it “medical grade.” Every dermatologist and reputable esthetician I’ve seen has been clear that “medical grade” isn’t a regulated standard -- it’s a marketing term used to justify high markups. The products might be good, but the sales tactics felt misleading. I also overheard the esthetician telling another client a story I’ve heard verbatim from other clinics selling the same line -- identical “before and after” transformation, identical phrasing. It may have been true, but it was highly suspicious that everyone selling this product has the exact story. It came across more like a rehearsed script than genuine care. This was all before the actual facial which was fine. Besides asking a few basic questions like you would at a spa, she never truly examined my skin. With my current medical esthetician (and every reputable one I’ve seen), they spend 15-20 minutes assessing my skin, asking detailed questions, and tailoring the treatment from there. Here, the intake felt more like a quick spa questionnaire than a medical-style assessment. Overall, not the kind of environment or expertise I look for in skin care but it's definitely for someone. Personally, not for me.
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Lack of Care, Courtesy, and Accountability I had a deeply disappointing experience with HealthOne’s skincare services. Despite the clinic’s promising reputation, what I received was far from the standard of care that others seem to highlight in their reviews. From the very beginning, I encountered indifferent and dismissive treatment. I was prescribed a product by their senior aesthetician that severely irritated my sensitive skin, causing a breakout that led to acne, scarring, and marks — a situation that could have been avoided with proper assessment and care. What followed was even more disheartening. Because of my sensitive skin, the staff refused to perform any treatments, effectively leaving me without support, guidance, or even a basic sense of empathy. Instead of helping me heal, they chose to do nothing. There was no courtesy, no warmth, and no roadmap for my recovery. Most concerning was the feeling of discrimination — whether it was because I’m not white or because I’m an immigrant, I was left wondering why others seemed to have positive experiences while I was left unheard and untreated. This lack of consistency and care has genuinely made me question the inclusivity and integrity of their services. A clinic that causes harm and then refuses to take responsibility or offer a healing path forward is not one I can recommend. I hope they seriously reflect on how they treat patients, especially those from diverse backgrounds.
