I'm so happy this place exists! More than just filling the vegan-taco quota with a mushroom and/or a tofu option as other places, Taquería Vegana is creative in their flavours and ingredients, incorporating plant-based meats, seitan, and a variety of mushrooms and vegetables, while making everything taste authentically Mexican. I only tried their tacos so far but I am looking forward to try the nachos and burritos next. The service is very attentive, they give suggestions and ask for feedback, which is always appreciated. Please go/order!!
What if I told you I had perhaps the yummiest veganeal of all times, but that I just couldn't properly enjoy it because it was served in disposable containers? This was my issue here. The food is just too good! This should be an actual restaurant! Instead, I feel like people are mainly doing grab and go, or GrubHub/what have you. I recommend the nachos. Very well distributed chips to toppings ratio, and I don't think I've ever enjoyed vegan cheese until this moment! Carry on your good work! ...location gets low marks, because it's really not near anything you would naturally be near.
My Mom and I came here for dinner and we can both say that this is the best vegan Mexican food if not Mexican food period, we have ever had. Everything was fresh and was filled with flavour, staff were kind and vibes were great, 10/10 restaurant and will definitely be back!
We have been wanting to try this for awhile and it did not disappoint. This was the best food I have had in awhile. The portions were filling, and everything was delicious. The service was excellent. I can't wait to go back
I actually really love that we have an all vegan taqueria in the city! I’ve tried quite a few of their dishes and will keep going back. Funny enough, I’m one of those vegans that don’t actually like mushrooms and I accidentally ordered the burrito that comes with the deep fried oyster mushrooms and I couldn’t tell. It was so good! Also the burrito itself is massive - huge portion.
I've been here a few times, and the food is always delicious. The service is awesome, it doesn't take too long for the food to be ready, and the best part is, the portions are big. I brought my mom here, and she doesn't want to get burrito bowls from any chain like Burrito Boyz, Mucho Burrito, Bar Burrito, or Fresh Burrito. She was so impressed with the seasoning and quality. Y'all know how hard it is to impress a brown person when it comes to spice and seasoning? Great food and my only complaint is they don't have a location in Brampton.
Damn, dude. Also, great selection of drinks. 2025 Update: no surprises here, but they're still #1. Flawless. 10 stars out of 5. Drink selection is even more great now too.
