I order several platters from this catering company every year for condo events, including cheese, antipasto, hors d’oeuvres, and sweets, and everything is always amazing! The platters are beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. Highly recommended for any party or special event!
Ordered food for catering... The salmon was disgusting. I could not even eat the whole piece. The soup noodles were disgusting, the soup and the meatballs were the only things that were good about this meal. Everything else was just horrid.. For paying so much money for catering you would expect good food. It used to be really good but now its just awful. (edit just found out the soup broth wasnt even from urban fare it was home made LOL)
I have shopped at Urban Fare for years and we also had our son’s wedding catered by them. The food I have purchased in the store is always excellent and the staff are always pleasant and very helpful. The wedding they catered was a roaring success, our guests raved about the food and presentation was lovely, the wait staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I got lots of help and good advice from Paul and Angela when I was organizing the party. I would not hesitate to recommend Urban Fare.
First time trying their catering and gave them a last minute notice for delivery but was still provided with exceptional service and a great Thai platter for my company. Will definitely be back to order again.

I ordered brunch over the phone from Urban Fare. I arrived to pick it up at the pre-determined time and it wasn't ready. No problem. 20 minutes later it was loaded into my car. When I put it all out, the pastries and bagels were tiny and stale - like rock hard weapons. The berries had mould on them and the watermelon was definitely off. The breakfast egg soufflé casserole thing was so salty that it was inetable. The following day I dropped it all back off. There was no one in management there when I picked it up, nor when I dropped it off. I never received an actual bill for the order; no an email and what was worse - no phone call after I dropped it all back off. I did receive a large charge on my credit card. I'm shocked they've lasted this long with such limited and bad service.
Urban Fare catered my event at the Wychwood Barns. There were ~250 people there from babies to seniors in age - some were vegans, some had gluten allergies. But Urban Fare came up with a menu that had something for everyone, and the food was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. The cheese plate, souvlaki, and salads were a big hit! Everyone was complimenting me on how excellent the food was! Kelly at Urban Fare was also a big help with the floor plan, and provided helpful advice on other aspects of the event including how to keep costs low. They were great.
