just an overall awful experience, we spent 60 bucks on some sushi, tempura and fries, nothing special, and everything just tasted awful. rice was soggy and dry at the same time if that make sense, fries were bad so my 4 year old wouldn’t even eat them, tempura hardly had any meat inside. and service was not great either. I thought I’d give it a try cause its close to where we live but never again.
Usagi Sushi never disappoints. The fish is incredibly fresh and you can taste the difference right away. Every roll feels carefully made, not rushed, and the rice texture is spot on. The place has a cozy, clean vibe, and the staff are genuinely friendly; they remember faces and make you feel welcome. Prices are fair for the quality you get, which makes it easy to come back often. Easily my go-to spot for sushi that actually tastes premium.
Favourite sushi I've tried on doordash and they have a good variety: samplers, poké bowls, aburi, miso soup, seaweed salad. My only complaint is they aren't open every day—being closed 3 times a week means I sometimes can't order when I have a craving and then I need to risk disappointment ordering from somewhere else.
I stopped in at Usagi late one night and got a couple different sushi rolls. The quality seemed quite good, and the suchi was delicious. It was even a pretty solid price. All that said, it is a little odd that it's takeout only. It makes for a really weird vibe if you want to walk in and order. You just have to sit around in a tiny little waiting area. Overall, Usagi is great sushi for the price, but you will have to sit in a strange waiting area to get it.
Had takeout from Usagi Sushi last night and it was excellent! The sushi tasted fresh, balanced, and exactly how good sushi should. I ordered the Aburi Sushi Set and Chicken Gyoza — both were delicious and consistent in quality. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great sushi takeout. I’ll definitely be ordering again.
The sushi was absolutely delicious and was done within ten minutes. They had a nice little couple of chairs set up to wait for the food. I ordered the salmon maki and the tuna maki and the salmon was absolutely delicious
We have ordered few times before sashimis and poke bowls from this new restaurant, located in our neighborhood and we liked the quality of the food and the presentation. This time was for a special occasion. We ordered for takeout our usual sashimi set and one of their sushi cakes. Everything was spectacular. The quality of the products and above all, the attention to the details, especially for the cake. A true work of art!
