I took my vehicle in to service the brakes beginning of January. They told me they replaced the front rotors and pads. Today Im at another mechanic replacing the same. I will speak with the top manager about this issue and what was really installed.
I've been taking my 2018 Honda CR-V here for a few years, ever since my Honda warranty expired. They are incredible, and I wish I would have started coming here sooner. I trust them completely with the car, and take their word when it comes to necessary vs. optional repairs. Abi is such a nice, soothing personality, which is really helpful when dealing with the stress of car repair/maintenance. I would highly recommend for any and all car work!
I had a very mixed experience and won't feel comfortable returning to Master Mechanic Dupont for future service. After an oil change and inspection, my tires were re-installed but torqued well beyond the manufacturer's spec (>100 ft-lbs as measured using a torque-wrench, when the spec is 76). Because they were so over-tightened, I couldn't swap on my winter tires myself as I've done for years without issue: the lock nut's key couldn't loosen the lock nuts and one of the studs broke. The manager (Abi) was kind and responsive, arranging a time for me to get the issue fixed. While I was there, the head mechanic rudely berated me. He wasn't trying to educate me or negotiate a fee, he was simply being condescending and didn't think my issue was real. He doesn't believe the manufacturer's spec is relevant. I authorized him to torque to 80 or 90 ft-lbs after loosening the nuts and swapping the tires: he returned it at 95, ignoring my clearly stated request. Abi was again a pleasure to deal with and a consummate professional when I picked up the car. But after being repeatedly disrespected by the head mechanic, I wouldn't trust this shop with my vehicle again.
High quality, honest and expert service for fair prices. This is a female friendly shop - respectful, clear communication, and kind. You get the sense that they care about making sure your car is safe for the road. Highly recommended.
Booked an appointment two weeks in advance. Brought my car in for a tire change at 9 am and they couldn’t guarantee it would be done by 3:00 pm. Poor customer service. Was very condescending when I asked any questions.

Frank and his team are courteous, professional and seriously competent. They diagnosed a loud noise in my front end, fixed it, changed transmission fluid and replaced cracked windshield in just a few hours. No front end noise and the price was very fair. Couldn't be more pleased. I've got my new mechanic.
