They were able to help us out on short notice with our deflating tires. A service I don’t think they even advertise or do normally. But really grateful they were able to see us and help pump our tires.
I brought my Toyota Sienna van for a safety inspection, but it failed because they said I needed to change the driver-side door pin—even though there was nothing wrong with it. I still paid for the safety test and left. Later, I got my car fixed at another garage. That mechanic even called Promo Motors and they argued, because Promo Motors was willing to pass the safety without actually asking to fix the door pin. That shows how unprofessional they are. After that, I went to Chooty Auto to fix my Ram 1500 driveshaft. Since the mechanic there was busy, he sent my vehicle again to Promo Motors. They replaced the driveshaft, but later I found they had broken my wheel lock nut, so I couldn’t remove the wheels now. When I informed them, they denied responsibility. Now, I have to spend over $500 to cut and replace all the lock nuts on my pickup truck. On top of that, within two months, the driveshaft they installed was done incorrectly, which caused damage to my front axle. It will cost over $ 2000 replace. they made a mistake I will pay for that. This garage is very irresponsible. They don’t fix cars properly, they damage them and deny mistakes. I strongly do not recommend Promo Motors to anyone.
DO NOT COME HERE! Do you enjoy being overcharged after agreeing on a fair price? Do you like being toyed with and left with a pounding headache? If you answered “yes” to any of those, congratulations — you’ve found your paradise. When I first walked in, they were hammering away at some poor Corolla and cranking something so hard it sounded like a bolt was being stripped. Shady first impression, but I still gave them a chance. That didn’t last long — they wanted to charge over $100/hour for labor. You can get way more bang for your buck literally anywhere else. After doing the repairs myself, I came back for a safety inspection. We had agreed on $100 (a fair price), but when I showed up, they suddenly decided it was $130. Guess they love cranking prices the same way they crank bolts — the wrong way. Despite all that, I decided to give them one last chance. I called ahead, confirmed they could do the safety, and they said “yes.” Two minutes later, while I’m already on my way and just a block away, they call back to cancel — last second. No explanation, no apology. Just told me to “go somewhere else.” These guys don’t value customers or their own word. If you want to save yourself, your time, and your wallet the headache, go anywhere else.
I recently had my car's oil changed it’s and was impressed with the quick turnaround and friendly service with by Menon. Prices are a bit higher than some other shops, but the quality of work is worth it.
