I have had conflicting service from this business. Recently I had about five bulbs replaced including headlights and brake lights etc. I just recently took a road trip which was 1,470 km each way. At one point I was following someone I knew and he pointed out that one of my headlights wasn't working properly. Once I reached my destination, we found out that the dust cover behind one of the headlight assembly was not only loose but fell off and was stuck behind another part. The wheel had to come off to retrieve that particular piece. The other headlight was not a full beam but it was a diffused light. It also wasn't adjusted properly. I took the car back in and didn't get any kind of apology for the improper attachment of the dust cover and told the other headlight could be a number of issues. No solution was offered. This was exactly the same approach I was given when I asked them to blow out my sunroof drains that were plugged. I was told that they didn't provide that service. I don't know why but at the end of the day, I found a really good mechanic who not only blue out my drains for me but raised the headlight up where it should have been and today, took a quick look and said that the bulb had not been seated properly and that's why the light was diffused and not focused. And after having done both of these things for me, I wasn't charged a penny and each situation was probably 20 minutes total work time. So I just have to say that being refused service, not apologizing for things that were wrong and having someone else fix the issues that they caused, has given me the opportunity to take my business elsewhere where I'm being taken seriously and I've been giving good service.
Chris was fast and thorough when fixing a power steering leak. He provided me with additional, helpful and honest information about my vehicle. Would go here again.
Royal Auto was recommended by a friend, so we decided to try them out, the heat shield came off Brenda's Toyota Matrix, they took the car in the same day, it was fixed in half an hour as promised, and at a very reasonable/fair price.
