I hosted my birthday party at Montauk Bar and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The service was exceptional, and Chris and Rose truly went above and beyond to make the night feel special and effortless. Great atmosphere, great people, and a place I’d absolutely recommend for any celebration
Cocktails here are on point, service is always welcoming and humble. Great neighbourhood and industry hangout. The feature cocktails are fire! Ask for duro chips with tajin and ranch dust.
Cheap & cheerful! There are incredible seasonal house cocktails and classics done well with a unique, rotating snack menu. My current favs are the LightHouse cocktail and cheese empanadas! The space gives cozy staycation vibes with fun colours, and lighting that feels just right. If you’re reading this and your last visit was over a year ago then you’re probably confused by that description. But trust me, it’s got a whole new look and it’s worth checking out! Service is quick and staff are lovely—shout out to Chris for the great service. There’s a mix of seating options from table, to high top to bar and there’s 2 tvs so you can even catch the game. Maybe your new favourite local?

Great drinks, amazing service, and hella chill vibes. Can't wait to come back to Montauk. I ended up at Montauk on a whim and had such a good time that I had to go again for my last night in Toronto. Chris and Esteban were super laid-back and made sure I always had a drink in hand. And after a night of spicy margs and shots, the best moment was when Chris told me I could grab a steamie (I had two). I hope I can make it for an upcoming trivia night!
Amazing neighborhood gem - have been here a few times for cocktails but most recently rented the bar out for a birthday party! Chris + staff were great at making sure we had fun, keeping the music bumping and the drinks flowing. Minimum spend is very reasonable & drinks are the most affordable in the area. Would definitely host another event here - perfect for 30-60 person events.
Great industry hangout that just re-opened under new ownership. Sunday nights they have $5 drink specials all night so get there early to make sure you get a seat!
