Roman Bath goes above and beyond for the customer's experience. Yolanda helped me and she was extremely knowledgeable on different kinds of kitchen faucets providing me the pros and cons of each. She understood exactly what I was looking for and got me answers in an instant. Compared to other retailers Roman bath is also competitive in their pricing. I am from Niagara and will be going back to Roman bath in future for my kitchen and bath needs. Thank you Yolanda and team.
BUYER BEWARE!! We ordered a 36" Vanico Neolito Shaker vanity from Roman Bath, that was beautifully displayed in their showroom. It arrived yesterday, a little over two months after we ordered it, in five separate boxes. In other words, it needs to be assembled!! When we asked Sanjay, the sales person, why it arrived unassembled his response was dismissive .... "Many of our vanities arrive in pieces .... and assembly service is not something that we provide.” So, if "many of their vanities arrive in pieces" I would think it was his responsibility to inform us (our designer and we, the clients) of that at the time of purchase. Or at least offer a service to assemble their vanities. Not the case. He did, however, reach out to the Vanico Rep. who reiterated that they also don’t know any professional installers to refer us to, despite their own recommendations to, I quote, “Use A Professional Installer … one who will guarantee his work.” So ... again Buyer Beware when shopping at Roman Bath.

Part of what I do for a living is renovate kitchen and bathrooms. Through years the years I have built a number of relationships with different stores and suppliers. This store is easily the worst, by far. Salespeople have lied to secure the sale by saying something is in stock, even to go as far as walking you over to their desk so they can check inventory. I ordered over $3000 worth of bathroom hardware and accessories and after Leuel checked inventory and ensured all but one item was in stock and the remaining item would come in within 2 weeks, I felt secure in moving forward. After printing the invoice, she mentioned I could not cancel anything due to any delays but not to worry as they had almost everything and the one missing item was already on its way to the warehouse. When pickup day arrived a week later, it turned out I was missing 4 items, not 1 and they would be arriving in 8 weeks, not in 2. Upset about this change and not being able to cancel my order, there was nothing to do but accept. I took the items home only to find out 3 of them were damaged. I ended up having to visit their suppliers or wait another 5 days for replacement items. I chose to pickup from the supplier but they didn't have one of them so I had to wait for it. The following day, opening the large flush mount shower head ($1200), my contractor realized that in the box, there were missing items. I ended up, once again visiting a different supplier to rectify the situation. At the supplier's, they opened up numerous "brand new" boxes to find that many were missing items. Eventually, we were able open enough boxes and mix them until we had an entire box. As the week goes by, the damaged piece came in. My wife went to pick it up and it was evidently not stored correctly. The inside was oxidized and looked like the beginning of rust was setting in. I could not believe the lack of care as we had been to their store and suppliers numerous times for what should have been a very straight forward order. I found out my missing items would now he coming in the New Year, an order I placed near Halloween which was supposed to complete by mid November. I ended up sitting down with Vera Watson and discussing with her my disappointment in the process. She was the first one to be apologetic. Fast forward to the week of February 20 when my order finally arrived. I asked Vera to ensure all pieces were present and damage free as I did not want to make another fruitless trip that would end up in returning yet again. She confirmed all items were ready for pickup and damage free. My wife picked up the boxes and returns home where my contractor finds that, yet again, there are items missing from the boxes and we cannot finish a renovation that started in November due to the absolute circus that is Roman Bath Centre. My patience has been exhausted. I leave this review still waiting to hear back what will be done about this issue. And for those wondering, on their invoice they specifically note they are not responsible for any contractor costs due to their failure to provide things on time or without damage. Even though, I expressly asked them to open the boxes and ensure the product they are selling me is intact and complete, I should not have relied on that. I have now spent money and brought a contractor to my home to compete my renovation and the last two boxes of items have an integral part missing. Roman Bath Centre is a store that is going downhill. In a world where customers are increasingly more savvy, they will sink out of existence. As a person who spends tens of thousands every year on renovating different homes, I will be shopping elsewhere after this experience. They have poor business practices and questionable sales tactics.
Would recommend Roman Bath. Bought fixtures for my bathroom and kitchen from here. Great quality, reasonably priced and appreciated the time they took with me to select my fixtures. Overall great experience.
Great from start to finish. Joseph sorted us out in no time, seemed to know what we needed before we did. I was impressed that he would flag areas where we might not get value for money. Showed us around the store quickly, and gave us time to deliberate without being over our shoulders. Super fast email response after the fact, to keep our order moving. Vera and the crew at the shipping dock also top notch, super personable and thorough.
