Based on Google Maps they should be closing at 7pm. We entered at 4:20PM and were told they close in 15mins. You should modify your working hours if you are closing early.
Great Coffee and nice pastry and sandwich. Why on earth is the WiFi login so complicated? All around the world coffee places use open wifi or simple username/password. Here you have to text and some code back. For travelers that is a problem. You lost one star because of this.
Average Internet Speed but Plus one for having lactose free milk, starbucks doesn't sell lactose free milk + their matcha is unsweetened so you can AVOID SUGAR as well.
Sad to say bc I do really like this cafe but I ordered an oat latte, watched it be made with regular milk, then when I confirmed it was an oat latte (which I paid extra for) the barista lied to my face and said yes. Didn’t feel like arguing so I just left with it. Had a couple sips but it’s definitely milk, so it will make me feel sick if I finish it.
Iconic, cozy, and totally Toronto. Big windows, bold brews, and that spacious, laid-back vibe that makes you want to stay a while—Dark Horse is a staple in the city’s coffee scene, and for good reason. Tried their matcha latte and it did not disappoint—rich, smooth, and just bold enough to perk you up without tipping into bitterness. Of course, I had to get my usual flat white too.
Dark Horse Cafe hosted a dance party we attended and it was amazing!! It was so fun dancing while getting delicious coffee and drinks and baked pastries! Standouts for me was the sweet, almond croissant, blueberry scone and butter tart! Also LOVED their speciality drink - the iced matcha ube latte was soooo amazing. The best drink!! Can’t wait to visit the cafe again soon.
