I’m a daily customer at Full Stop Coffee on Dundas St West, and while I usually love this place for its great coffee and friendly staff, today’s experience was completely unacceptable. This morning, I was served by the same blonde-haired woman who has repeatedly been unwelcoming and careless with service. My coffee was served lukewarm instead of hot, even though it was a simple hot beverage order. I didn’t ask to warm up any food today, but based on previous visits, I’ve had similar disappointing experiences when she’s working — including being refused when I politely asked to have a muffin or croissant warmed up. It’s frustrating because the rest of the team consistently does an excellent job — they’re polite, attentive, and always serve drinks exactly as ordered. Even a new trainee last week managed to provide better service and attention to detail. This clearly shows the issue isn’t with the café itself, but with this specific staff member’s lack of effort and disregard for basic service standards. As someone who visits Full Stop every single day, this ongoing issue feels like a real waste of money and patience. I’m posting this review so that the owners are aware, because the café overall is fantastic — but one employee’s careless attitude is truly affecting the reputation and experience of an otherwise great coffee shop. This needs to be addressed.
The coffee was decent. I ordered an oat cortado. One recommendation I'd have is to try out new oat milk brands, the taste was not exactly what I was expecting and I think the oat milk wasn't the right one for coffee drinks. Ambience is nice, lots of clean seating, and staff is super friendly.
One of the best cookies I've ever had with my coffee. Mmm. Coffee was excellent. Lots of seating inside with some nice benches out back too. Very friendly service too.
My barista (I think her name was Nathalie) was incredibly friendly and kind! She made my vanilla latte perfectly with beautiful latte art. I will definitely be returning to this coffee shop!!
Food, coffeex and service are top notch. Definitely 5 stars. Only issue I have is the wifi connection can go in and out at times which can be frustrating. If you're not going there to work, then you should go in to try their homemade sweets!
Meh. Dude at the cash was so unfriendly. The coffee was alright, the smoothie isn’t a smoothie at all, more of a slush. Very unclear which seating was available inside. Only after I sat at the wrong table I was told there was an outside patio at the back. I wouldn’t return just because of the stuffy rude vibes.
My ‘go-to’ coffee shop! It was Love at first site! Extraordinary blend of a signature ‘Full Stop’ coffee bean, really smooth and tasty. Also, love at first bite... their baked goods are tasty, fresh and baked on the premises. Super friendly and kind people who work there... they all feel so genuine and thoughtful. Family owned business too. I always feel uplifted after a visit!
