10/10 coffee *consistently* - regardless of who's behind the counter, the coffee always turns up fresh and delicious. The staff are all very friendly. This neighbourhood is blessed with good coffee spots, but Hale stands out for its consistency.

Great drip coffee that's strong enough to handle my preferences - I like some coffee in my Creamer. Vegan & gluten-free muffins that taste amazing. I'll be back. :)

Every time (3-4 times before) I wanted to go there this place is closed… Really weird hours for a coffee shop. Closing at 4 is fine, I guess, but opening at 8 is super late. Weekends they are basically closed. Losing out on so much business. Can’t get customers if you’re always closed :(

this place has no business being as cute as it is at bloor and church, such a random location for a lovely cafe! they have a small selection of made to order sandwiches—i got the egg bagel sandwich, it was very good and $6.50! also the staff were super nice and relaxed and friendly and the coffee was v good (:

**UPDATE SUMMER 2025: They no long consistently give the bring your own cup discount Hope that changes back- may be looking for a new coffee spot.** Love this local cafe. Best spot around. It's my go-to because of the great coffee, nice selection of muffins, pastires, and breakfast sandwhiches, environmental awareness (they give a discount for bringing your own mug), and the people working there are always very friendly. Nice atmosphere inside. Highly recommend!

$2.80 for a small lukewarm coffee. Every time someone walks in the front or back door guests are treated to a speaker announcing the open door. I won’t be back.

This's gonna be a perfect place for reading and working. COFFEE: the cappuccino was so good I had to try to stop myself from getting another one. PASTRY: not so much options, the croissant was decent. VIBE: love the latino vibe in here, it made me feel so relaxing. There's a whole area in the corner with sofa, bean bags for reading and working with more private. The place is filled with natural light.
