Low quality matcha. The kind that tastes faintly of tomato?. Can’t trust a uoft cafe branch with matcha. It’ll always be the really earthy green kinds of matcha that isn’t refined. Good matcha should always be a brighter green not an earthy army green. Lowkey pissed I spent 7 dollars for this shit so be warned?

Love the vibe in this building, so chill and bright. Sushi and onigiri was yummy, iced americano was very good and bold. They even have bento boxes for lunch (Asian inspired ones), and when I read the ingredients, they use fresh ingredients. Super impressed and will be back. EDIT: the only thing I’ll say is please offer spicy mayo in the future!!! They also have some interesting pop/beverages to choose from if you’re in the mood to try something new :)

Have been a customer of this Kibo Cafe location at 108 College Street since they opened in 2024. The staff have always been and still are friendly and professional, demonstrating a high level of customer service and always making you feel welcomed. Food is tasty and delicious. They introduced a wider selection of baked goods/pastries not too long ago which are delicious. I have also liked the hot items selection for lunch and hoping more options can be introduced as well, such as maybe soups in Fall/Winter. Shout out to the Kibo Team for the great service!!

And creepy Staff not friendly try avoid place the horrible place food was good they don’t take crash and only credit cards another girl is nice friendly welcome costume

This cafe is inside the lobby of a modern UofT building that can be accessed by the public. Featuring delicious craft espresso & matcha drinks, with bakery, Japanese grab and go items and fun snacks. These can be enjoyed in the airy spacious lobby with plentiful seating. This place is now my go to for meetings outside work, and when I want some quiet time. The staff are friendly and offer great suggestions.

Picked up a latte on my way to work. Quiet atmosphere and the barista was friendly. The latte tasted great. Did not try the food but it looked tasty. They also have other items for sale like granola bars, chips and drinks. Would come back!

Such wonderful service. The drinks are well made the food and pastries are tasty and well priced. The barista is my favorite love talking to him when I grab my goodies. Go check Kibo out
