I tried their viral Mango Sticky Rice Matcha and Banana Bread Latte, and honestly, they were just okay. Both drinks were very sweet, which overpowered the original matcha and coffee flavors instead of complementing them. If you have a serious sweet tooth, you might enjoy them, but for someone looking for balanced flavors, they felt a bit too sugary.
I was absolutely elated this morning when I walked into my favourite pilot coffee location to find Monica! She makes a superb latte and always creates a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere - an absolute asset to this company!
Happy to be a regular here! The coffee is always great, plus Monica and Emma are the best baristas around. The neighborhood is better because of this little corner!

They’re both very sweet and the flavors take away from the original matcha and coffee taste rather than enhancing it. I think it’s a good place for sweet lovers! edit: gave them another chance by trying their plain matcha, it was $9 and milky. Do not recommend:(
- Cashless shop. - Barista was unpleasant. May have just been the day but alas. (Edit: Looked at other reviews, looks like it wasn't just my experience that day) - Waited a decent amount of time to not be able to get anything (not the barista's fault, just staffing) + However, I've had Pilot Coffee from other shops, it makes a decent cup of coffee.
I’ve been to this location a couple of times. Both times have been a pleasant experience with its friendly staff, convenient location to grab lunch or dinner afterwards and close to the subway line. The drinks are always well-made and the atmosphere is welcoming.
My partner and I recently started going to this location as we have moved into the area. We are so happy there is a location close by us! We always have such a pleasant experience here and we will continue to come back! Staff is super welcoming, friendly and helpful!!
