Rapido never misses!! Had a burger today and it was so so good, as always. Staff is super friendly and welcoming; the vibes are always on point. Love this place!!
The perfect neighbourhood coffee shop. Prices are more than reasonable by comparison to other coffee shops in the area. They’re not trying to be slick, there’s no millennial grey or marble counters. The employees are kind, and the space is warm and friendly. Anytime I visit, there are always people from all walks of life in the space. Marco the owner is the absolute best and is always in and out— such a hard worker who REALLY cares. My personal fav is the turkey sandwich, but Marco’s been making the chicken and brie for 20 years. Great pizza too!
I walked in today without even knowing the name of this café because I had just finished work and was starving. Upon entering I was greeted by a very friendly server who explained what foods they have and showed me the hot food bar. I ordered the chicken parm meal which was part of the hot bar and honestly it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in Toronto. It was fresh, delicious, and came with tasty sides. The price was very reasonable given the portion, quality, and freshness of the food as well as the atmosphere and service. Definitely coming back and I can’t believe I was unaware of the existence of this place! It’s a true Toronto gem.
My first visit there. Nice atmosphere, and friendly staff at the front. Area of improvement, I ordered the special, Curry pork & veggie on rice, but I literally found only "1 tiny piece" of pork (approximately 2~3 cm) from the entire meal.
Rapido has always been a great little cafe in my neighbourhood with good food and coffee and a super cute interior and back patio. Now the owner has set up a grill out front and makes the BEST lunch sandwiches daily - burgers, grilled chicken, and sausages with caramelized onions and roasted sweet peppers. He also makes fresh fries. SO GOOD. Grazie Marco!
How quaint can you get? Rapido meets the requirement for coffee on all levels, but exceeds expectations with the unbelievable food options. One of Toronto's best lunch or coffee spots, cups down!
WHY wouldn't you?! A fun saying from co-owner Marco Santaguida, I don't get there as often as I used to - but a sweet spot for italian servings, and hopefully, mom and dad still contribute to the baking and cooking - a family that shows their love for food, and SHARES that love. GET there!
