Coffee was so tasty!! Also the staff was really thoughtful and hospitable even though it did get quite busy, really impressed by the service! They gave us our drinks at the table and also served us water without us needing to ask. They were helpful with answering our questions, too. ❤️ Recommend!!
This place stands out from a majority of the coffee shops, not only are their drinks delicious but are creative and different than most other places. I had the Kuro Macha which had a black sesame foam and the mix of black sesame and matcha didnt overpower each other and mixed really well and their pistachio matcha cookie was also so soft and delicious. I wish though there was more drink than Ice and that their winter specials had more hot drink options than cold on such a freezing day. This place is also very busy and tightly packed.
So….this is in the path and does not have a storefront as pictured. We were looking forward to sitting in and were supposed to get there 40 mins before close but didn’t end up finding it until 20 to when they were already cleaning up. The coffee is good, but for the price, it is not anything out of this world that warrants it.
Ordered their matcha yuzilla seasonal drink and just WOW. It was refreshing and the ratio of ingredients was well balanced. You can taste the matcha, yuzu, and tonic water flavours equally working in harmony. Some Highlights: I enjoyed the yuzu shavings in the drink. It really shows they are using the real fruit instead of flavouring (I hope). The tonic water also added the subtle sweetness and carbonation to the drink. It was great that the barista mentioned before drinking to slowly stir the tonic water to mix in. Great service and the atmosphere is always a vibe. I hope this drink will stay in the summer rotation too. Simply amazing!
Always a special experience to sit and have a coffee here. The staff is kind and attentive and the coffee is fantastic. They put a lot of care into their offerings. It's a hidden gem.
Their coffee beans are way overpriced. for those of you don’t know, coffee shops are able to get wholesale price from coffee roasters, usually 60% of retail price. Even if you factor in international shipping fees, that’s still a good profit they are making. All other coffee shops can keep coffee from international roasters roughly at retail price. For example, Rooms coffee sells SEY coffee at only $28, at Brick room that would be close to $40. Don’t bother to buy coffee beans here, it’s a ripoff.
Cute new coffee shop in the path. Plenty of seating room for when you are walking by during your morning commute or after work. If you’re coming from Street Level the easiest way to get through is going into the Brookfield building and taking the escalators down. I also really enjoyed their tiramisu latte, it is iced but delicious.
