Thumbs down. Eisbein with sauerkraut was terrible — skin was hard like rubber and the meat was very dry. Waitresses were loud chatting among themselves with " hk style cafe"service , like a overpriced HK café茶餐廳 . Soups came in half bowls. Won’t go again.
Called to make reservations for 6 people, being told that have to pay $200 in advance (non-refundable, if you don’t order more than $200). What kind of rule this is, never heard it before. Guess they have enough customers, not me anymore.
Lots of varieties. The HK milk tea is excellent. 星洲炒米 and 干炒牛河have wok air鑊氣。Singapore rice noodle has abalone slice, but you may need to ask for less spicy. Shrimp toast is yummy too.
The food was good although not sure we're getting the value for the price. It was also cold for some reason to the point that I had to wear my winter jacket.
Came in wait for a long time for staff to clean table for us. Than someone walked in and gave our table to them. We walked out. No thanks even if there’s even a promotion.
Hidden gem. Brilliant service and excellent food. We dined in on a Friday night, parking was pretty bad, but the restaurant wasn't too busy. In fact I'm really surprised by how not busy it is, given the fact that the food is excellent and service was great. Price wise it was around 25 dollars per person, portions might be small compared to other HK style restaurants, but for me it was perfect. The staff was polite, professional and hard working, food was awesome, perfect 5/5! Special shout out to the owner/manager who chose the utensils, cups, and overall food presentation. Really high quality stuff, it makes a huge difference in the dining experience.
20251212 Update: 2 steak set photos added. They offered buy 1 get 50% off for the 2nd steak dish. Other than Beef/ pork/ chicken options, they have beef tongue which is very soft and delicious. Portion is large and tasty. 2025 Update: Their steak set and rice dishes are delicious, too. 2024: Plating for the tea sets are appealing with special discount that won't break your wallet. Deep fried items such as shrimp toast, chicken wings with french fries are crispy. Baked porkchop rice and spaghetti bolognese are delicious. Truffle cream sauce is divine.
