Worst coffee I’ve ever had! Tasted burnt. The first time I had it I thought it was a one off. This is second time trying this location and was even worst. The guy that works there he’s an older short guy and he was mopping when I placed my order so he proceeded to make my coffee without washing his hands and I also ordered a croissant which he grabbed with his bare dirty hands! It’s gross! Not to mention his filthy nails. and he insisted on putting lid on my coffee after I told him I would do it. So I tossed it all in garbage once I left because it was disgusting behaviour! This place should be reported for their unsanitary services! Waste of $12
Nice little café near the TTC station. Spent great time there. Would come back to the place if in the area. I ordered a chai. It was ok for an Italian café.
Great service create prices and fresh matcha latte with almond milk. A few people were hanging out inside. The environment was nice. They were playing xmas music. Good vibes. Highly recommend for authentic Italian coffee
Saturday morning at 9:00am there's always like 20 guys drinking espresso and laughing and telling stories and it feels quaintly European. I have no idea what they're talking about.
Zaza on Willard is my neighbourhood coffee shop and I love it there. I go there almost every morning for my espresso and often a pastry and everything is so fresh. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and I find their coffee excellent. All of the staff is super friendly and Greg in particular takes great care of us. It’s always fun to see him and exchange a joke or two while he’s making drinks.
The Americano was delish, although the grilled cheese sandwich was literally cold, not sure if the staff was not trained sufficiently or if there oven was broken ( very disappointing )
Really lovely gelato. Can I request that you please switch your taster spoons from plastic to wood? Many other ice cream shops have biodegradable wood spoons and it doesn't impact the flavour or experience at all. My friend and I each tasted a flavour and then each bought an ice cream cone. In total, we were given 4 little plastic spoons (2 for tasting, and then another 2 with the cone itself which seemed strange). We didn't use the spoons to eat our cone and ended up throwing out 4 plastic spoons. Would really love to not have any waste when I go out for ice cream.
