Today I showed up 2 minutes before close which I know is terrible but I also work retail and at busy times of the year like this we also close super late. I was excited because I thought I could get there just in time before they close but when I got there the young lady at the door was closing the gate I showed her I still had 2 minutes and pleaded with her I knew what I wanted and would be really quick. Even at my job I often let people enter if they're like a minute or two past closing so I'm pretty disappointed. I still gave two stars because my experience in the past here has usually been very pleasant and helpful from the guys who are usually there late. Maybe it's because I'm a white male and scary I don't know. Tonight I'm just left feeling disappointed I didn't just go up the street 2min walk to fogtown instead. I was looking forward to buying my brother my favorite vape but now I can't. Disappointed but I guess it's understandable it was literally 2mins to close. It's just painful because I was there I made it and knowing all the times I've let people in past close at my work then when the tables are turned I get denied. Just really disappointed.
Excellent service! Carter was very friendly and helpful with all of my questions. I even had an issue w/ my card and he recommended an RBC across the street. I returned and purchased my chosen glass piece which Carter had waiting for me packaged ready to go behind the counter, as per my request. The shop itself has a convenient parking lot, if you are lucky you can find a spot (near yonge and sheppard is practically unheard of), and a unique selection of craft glass pieces, standard glass pieces for various smoking preferences, and the staff I met tday was very friendly. I would highly recommend this shop to any & all enthusiasts.
I went in today to purchase some CBD oil and found the service to be horrendous. After I told the woman what I was looking for, she brought the product to the counter. I asked to see the label so I could read the details for myself, but instead of handing it over, she held it with both hands—ham-fisted—and refused to let me hold or properly review it, as if I was trying to steal it. The only reason I went here is because I live across the street, but I won’t be going back.
I really love this place, but unfortunately, my recent experience wasn’t great. The girl working there today wasn’t helpful or kind, which was disappointing. I usually come here and always have a great experience with the other staff especially the blonde guy who looks like Leonardo DiCaprio, he’s always super kind and professional. Today’s interaction felt unprofessional, and I didn’t feel comfortable. Hope this feedback helps improve the experience for others.
