I usually stop by here because some of the staffs are wonderful and they give amazing experiences when they do serve me. but I'll have to choose a different dispensary now since I keep having poor experiences with one of the budtenders with the beard and long hair. I've been served by him in my last few visits, and last week was the final straw after another rude interaction with him when I came in last week to look for edibles. If people are buying something that's new to them, then they obviously won't have any knowledge like the staffs! Why take it further and make people feel dumb for stepping foot into your business to shop and ask questions I don't mind taking a longer route to shop elsewhere if it means I receive a respectful interaction. That's the bare minimum of customer service.
Shout out to Harsh and Samuel for their amazing services the other day, hence why I gave this place 3 stars. But the guy with the long hair is the worst...
lazy and ableist staff. They don’t have an accessible entrance and I am a wheelchair user. I live right around the corner and have been going to the store multiple days a week for about four months. I rolled up today and knocked on the door. The staff did not answer the door so I called the store to let them know I was outside. No one answered the phone and there’s no voicemail. Finally after knocking on the side door a few times I park my wheelchair on Dundas and I’m very worried it’s gonna get stolen. I go into the store to buy something and ask the staff if they heard me knocking Both men rolled their eyes and said they had customers in the store. I then asked them if they had an accessible entrance or if I should keep knocking on the side door in future. They just ignored me and asked me what I was there to buy. I made my purchase and tried to initiate conversation about accessibility again. I was given a dirty look and immediately left. I will not be returning.
Awesome place. The very pleasant sales guy recommended specific gummies when I asked for effects of energy and insight. They have made my trip to Toronto an incredibly rich experience. Thanks PLUG!
i called and asked if i come come and i’m 2 minutes away and they said yes. i showed up for 10:55 and they closed the door. i get that you want to go home but buying a preroll would take less than 2 minutes. lazy staff :(
Love getting my pre rolls from here . They always come up and help understand what I’m looking for . Amazing display and can get the best value price in this neighborhood .
Buyer be aware!!!! I came into The Plug Cannabis Store seeking safety after a man began aggressively following and harassing me and my daughter. We asked the staff if we could exit through the back for protection. While the security guard acknowledged the threat and confirmed the man was waiting outside, the woman at the counter responded in a way that was disturbing and unacceptable. Instead of offering any compassion or assistance, she laughed in my face, shouted at me to get out, and aggressively came around the counter in an attempt to physically confront me. I have filed a police report, and I will be pressing charges. No one should be treated this way—especially when asking for help. This woman is unstable and dangerous. Be aware.
