Please stop selling the General Admission vapes. They consistently don't work, and that's after you get all the bloody equipment it needs just to charge the thing. But it doesn't work, nothing comes out, and this is the second time I've bought this and it's the second time it's happened. I don't keep every single receipt cuz I'm not a psycho, or my dad, so I guess I can't get a refund but Christ it's not a vape, it's an ornament. It's vape adjacent, cuz it's sold next to real vapes, which actually work, but it's not a vape. A vape can be used. This is useless and does nothing, so it is therefore not a vape. Please stop selling this because most of us aren't rich and can't afford to just burn money, plus sometimes you just want to get stoned without needing an Electrical Engineering degree. That said, the staff and the store in general are great, but right now I'm staring at a waste of money, and can't afford to get another one. They also reply to your reviews and tell you to email them, and when you do they just completely ignore you but hey at least I got to waste even more time with this dishonest business.
Rude and unwilling to help staff. Prices seem on par with other dispensaries now so better off going somewhere that doesn't make you feel like you're bothering them when inquiring about product packaged dates.
What kind of store IDs under 40? Is your product that dangerous that it needs double the ID age of alcohol? Selling fentanyl or weed? Talk about uptight.
I've been a customer at Value Buds on Bloor since it opened and have always had good experiences—until today. My girlfriend and I visited, and while I showed my ID to the male staff member, my girlfriend was looking at some items. A staff lady in her early 40s, brunette with some white hair and glasses approached my girlfriend abruptly and asked for her ID. My girlfriend, who didn’t have it, didn’t make a fuss and moved to the lobby area. However, the staff member followed her there and, in what felt like an unnecessary move, insisted she leave the store entirely. She came back in the store and directly approached me requesting my ID.When I asked why she chased out my girlfriend from the store, her attitude became more confrontational with me. The male staff member stepped in to confirm that I had already shown my ID, in what looked to me like an effort to try to defuse the situation and let her coworker know she did not need to further engage with me in this manner. By then, the interaction had soured, lacking any basic warmth or courtesy, which was disappointing, and I decided to leave without making a purchase. I understand the need to enforce policies, but the way this situation was handled by this staff lady felt unnecessarily harsh. I plan to return, but next time I’ll come alone to avoid putting any the staff in a similar situation. I hope this review helps bring awareness to the importance of staff's ethic in body language and initial interactions with customers. A little adjustment in how policies are enforced also could go a long way in improving the overall customer experience. I visited this location around 5 PM on Wednesday, August 28th.
Menu boards always wrong. Stand in line to find out the item wanted is sold out. Lady gave me attitude when I asked if anything else on menu board unavailable. Back to C A.F.E
This was my local shop but I won't be going back. Today was my Third time there with very uncomfortable service with three different employees. Today the manager was confrintational and rude, she id'ed me literally three days ago she can wait 2 minutes while I get my wallet out without sternly chastising me, and if it was such a priority they should have someone posted at the door. The sign at the door had been removed and placed near the floor with no partition. The customer she had been serving was uncomfortable and tried to break the tension but the third time she asked (while I had my wallet in my hand), I just left. Ive worked in liquor and controlled industries, this was beyond the base requirements as I was literally holding my id to show her. Previously, a male associate PULLED ANOTHER EMPLOYEE OFF THE TILL to find a product as she served someone, flirting loudly and being dismissive to everyother guest. It was extremely uncomfortable. Good luck working out the kinks, but I'm not embarrassing myself to give you money again.
Well, the reviews don't lie. These guys somehow gave us the wrong order. We told them we wanted 4 coco biscuit cookies, yet when we get home and check our bag we have 1 coco biscuit cookie and 3 cinnamon cookies. Not a huge deal, but still pretty annoying.
