I came because I was strugigling the K Market with my daughters and the name of the shop is excellent, and kind of funny, and simply because I like Monty Python and cheese shops. Also, I listen to the Earful Tower podcast which is based in Paris and they had a great episode about the fear of going into a cheese shop when you just don't know everything or much. So I went in, asked the guy at the counter who had a hat that said 'Intern' or something like that on it, and asked him for the most underrated cheese they have, and after a couple of different sample tastings he came up with a Swiss goat cheese aged 14 months in a cave. Bloody fantastic. I now have a go-to cheese shop.

When everything is high quality it’s hard to say what’s best until you sample the Dutch Gouda called Prima Donna - just leave some for me. I live at Broadview Danforth so you know there is no shortage of good cheese to find here. Weekly it’s the 2 line then south on Spadina for this cheese and for the people who own and work here. Personable, kind, thorough and knowledgeable.

I know this Cheese shop for over 30 years since I came to Toronto. Very small place with different names of cheese and so much more Somehow I never ever seen any discounts on products or any sale items… I wonder why? I got good customer experience from Walter, thanks for your help and recommendation

Genuinely friendly and welcoming (without being at all pushy). Has been in the neighbourhood for decades. Huge product variety. A very pleasant experience!

Just moved to the area and the woman was absolutely delightful! Ended up getting some amazing Spanish Goat Cheese and will definitely be returning for all my charcuterie needs!

Thank you Ping for sharing all the tasty cheese samples from all over the world. Watching you joyfully serve every customer who stands at the counter makes me so proud to be a fellow Singaporean. Keep shining for Singapore!

I love this place. Although I can't honestly say I'm a regular customer, I always go here when in need of proper cheese (read: not the normal supermarket stuff). The staff is always friendly and patient, very knowledgeable, and more than willing to give samples of whatever you're curious about. For New Years this year, I did a quick check to see if I could still buy stuff for a cheese board, and found out they now have online ordering! Not only that, they give you the option to pick up or have it delivered. I opted for delivery, and the turnaround was super-fast. Everything arrived the same day, right on time. The way these guys pivoted their business to accommodate online shopping is such a blessing. I cannot recommend this place enough.
