We received a subscription as a gift and the selection of cheeses and and accompaniments have been fantastic. Will be going to this place on a regular basis now that I know !!
Hidden gem indeed! This store is wedged between non-descript stores and very easy to walk by - but once you step inside you’re greeted by an imaginatively stocked store full of canned goods, excellent cheeses and wines you won’t find many other places. They have the best staff - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This was our first visit - picked up a selection of items to try out, and will be cooking pasta / mussels tonight. Strongly suggest you stop by here.
We enjoy Norway brown cheese and so gladful to find it at Good Cheese, Gerard. They do carry multiple choices of cheeses, snacks, alcohols etc. Such a wonderful little store with friendly staffs.
I went to this place to buy a special cheese ( pesto red cheese). It was great. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. It is a small store but if you look for special cheese it is worth the trip.
such a wide selection of tinfish. i didn’t get a chance to try the cheeses this trip, but definitely will stop by the next time i get the chance. staff are super helpful and provided suggestions. can’t wait to try all the tin fish i bought!
Such an amazing shop. I always try to stop by on my lunch breaks when at work and am always met with kindness and knowledgeable staff. I appreciate the opportunity to sample the cheeses especially as someone who isn’t very knowledgeable on cheese yet loves it. Lindsay especially is awesome and knows a LOT about cheeses and always has such great recommendations. Also she’s very patient — I’m always lingering, looking around even after I say I’m ready to check out, and she always lets me take my time. Which is appreciated because I always feel bad to come into such an awesome place with awesome people so distracted! Also stopped by once with my boyfriend to get a glass of wine with a cheese board and we had such a wonderful experience. Very good and chill vibes with, once again, amazing staff. Great selections and I know some people might say it might be on the pricier side but I can’t complain. I don’t know any other place that offers a lot of these items and it’s always a treat to find something new to try. Thanks for always brightening my day guys! :)
as with any speciality store, its pricier than a typical grocery store’s cheese collection, but their selection is really cool, they have some cheeses you might not find everywhere, and let you sample things to try it out! lots of cool and yummy looking imported goods such as pasta, sauces, canned seafood, etc. knowledgeable staff. i can tell this place is a neighbourhood gem because i got there at 11 (when they open) and there were 7 other people in line waiting w me! which was pretty cool :)
