Great food, amazing price! Meals for 4 people worked out to $15 per person, after tip. Highly recommend the pan fried pork buns, deep fried chicken cartilage, black fungus appetizer. Also, the service is excellent. Super fast, efficient, and some light hearted sass from the lady.
This place is such a blessing in the heart of downtown. They have other locations too which is great! Everything on their menu is under $10 and in today’s economy I think that’s such a deal. The service is welcoming and fast and the interior is also cozy. We ordered a lot of stuff and still spent less than $30 per person. Got the pork buns, pork soup dumplings, curry fish balls, crispy spicy pork, soup noodles and pork belly fried rice and everything was super delicious. The only dish that could have used a little more spice and seasoning was the crispy pork dish. My favourite were the curry fish balls and the soup dumplings. Both were delicious!
I went with my grandparents for a graduation dinner and was pleasantly surprised! The food was great, good service and clean environment. For a family of 3 we ordered 5 items and cost us $47 which is a great value for the amount of food. This will be our new go to spot for crispy fried chicken wings!
For those unfamiliar with Southern Chinese pan fried buns, this a an excellent spot to try them. Very fresh, great service, beautiful reno in the former Goldstone restaurant. Try the beef brisket soup!!
I came to this restaurant recently and was really surprised by how good the food was. Its fresh, and you can tell right away ,the food is seasoned very well.They’re not too expensive,and they have a really good flavour that makes you want to order another plate. The rest of the experience was great too. The staff were welcoming and quick with service, even though the place was fairly busy. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean, so it’s a nice spot to sit down and enjoy your food. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the portions are actually better than a lot of other places I’ve been to. If you’re looking for a place that has great food, this is definitely worth checking out.
Highly recommend this place! The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. The Chaoshan-style Beef Noodles with Sauce were the highlight of my visit — I had never tried them before, but decided to give them a shot this time, and they turned out to be amazing. The portions are also very generous — two of us (both girls) could barely finish them. Definitely worth ordering!
Disappointing Experience with the Staff I visited this restaurant recently and was really disappointed by the behavior of the staff. They seemed disorganized and inattentive — it took a long time to get service, and when I finally did, the attitude was quite unprofessional. Instead of being welcoming, they seemed irritated and rushed. Good food can’t make up for poor customer service, and unfortunately, that’s what ruined the experience for me. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on training their staff to be more courteous and attentive to customers.
