came here for dinner with my friends. The price is really good, one of the best restaurants with low price in downtown area. The portion is huge. The soup is really good. They are still boiling hot when the staff brought the pot to me. The space is quite quiet compared to the bustling street outside. A good place for students to come as it’s in Chinatown.
I visited 桥香园in KunMing, YunNan with my daughter almost 20 years ago. I would say the one, the original in the menu, I had is at least as good, which includes the meat, vegetables…., the noodles, and most critical the SOUP. I would never imagine to have such genuine 过桥米线 20 years later in Toronto. My complements to the chef, the service staff, and the owner.
sooooo good! reasonably priced. i had the mala and it was perfect :) love love love. i will definitely be back soon. delicious spiced broth. best rice noodles i’ve ever tried, definitely not what i had expected at first. they had an addicting texture.
Food was delicious and staff is phenomenal!! The music is awesome and the restaurant is extremely clean and polished. Definitely recommending to anyone going to Toronto!
Visited Toronto with my friends on a weekend trip and WOW this was good food. Not pricy at all and 4$ for a coors? Sign me up. Jane was super sweet when we had a slight misunderstanding about the food and they even gave us free dessert. I hope this place stays in business here forever so I can come back again someday
Me and my friend went to this place for friend time because it looks nice and looks not bad but went we try it was terrible I honestly couldn't eat it, that was the worst chicken teriyak I ever try on chinatown. Also the beef rice the flavor was not good nor the quality of the meat, in addition the service was not the best.
The restaurant's food was delicious and precautions on spatial awareness and bonus points for great air circulation! Overall, a decent substitute if you were trying to go to other rice noodle soup places. Note: we stopped by Shi MiaoDao for dinner time around 7-8pm with friends. Food-wise, we had the House Special Malay Laksa Rice Noodle Soup, Hot and Sour Rice Noodle Soup, Shredded Chicken and Shredded Potato. Following with the other reviews, agreed, the Laksa soup base was pretty good. The Hot and Sour soup base is not your "average hot and sour soup" you'd expect. It's more on the traditional herbal style for hot and sour. We were also pretty full on the standard 1 service of rice noodle and didn't order any refills at all! The cold dishes of Shredded Chicken and Shredded Potato was not bad as well, although the potato could do for a bit more seasoning. Service was alright. The staff required a bit of flagging down which is okay. Since we were closer to closing time, the staff was a bit more casual with dishwashing gloves and grabbing your dishes in front of you. which I personally don't mind. They also take cash or credit for contactless interaction as well which is great.
