Hi folks, Cloe did an amazing repair my Rockwater designs winter Parka. The inside sleeve was torn and I forgot about the inside pocket zipper. Everything is repaired to an exceptional standard. It's perfect! Her work is truly professional. Thank you Cloe. Yukon and back.

I’ve taken a bunch of stuff here over the years. Everything has come back beautifully done. Recently I brought my daughter’s snow pants in to have the legs lifted so that next year we can pull out the threads and have them lengthen when my daughter grows. As always: beautiful results and a great job.

Overcharges! I went in to have the leg of my jeans tapered, and they wanted to charge me $75. When I asked why it was so expensive, they explained it included $25 to undo and redo the hem plus $50 for the taper, and claimed they were giving me a discount! I called Over The Rainbow, a denim shop with in-house tailoring, and they quoted me $25 for the same service.

“I brought a long dress to Chloe for wedding I’m attending for alterations and she did an amazing job. The fit was perfect for my shape, everything was finished on time, and she made the whole experience so easy. I would highly recommend her!”

On the recommendation of my friend, I brought my wedding blazer to this atelier to let out the sleeve slightly and make it just a bit longer. During my first visit, I didn’t get a good feeling from the owner’s energy or the options she suggested for the sleeve—such as sewing a piece of lining onto the sleeve of a new blazer. That already sounded unprofessional and made me uneasy. My friend, who is also a seamstress, told me it was a simple fix and just required slightly letting out the fabric. I should have just taken the blazer and left at that point, especially since I had doubts. But for some reason, I left it there. Two weeks later, I came to pick up the blazer. In a rush, I put it in a bag, thanked her, and was about to leave, but something made me stop in the hallway and check the sleeves—and I was very upset. The work was done poorly. Because she had pressed the sleeves heavily with an iron, the fabric on the inside started showing striped marks (visible in the photo). I went back in and asked, “What is this?” She said it was because of the lining, that something was wrong at the factory, and so on (I didn’t understand all the tailoring terms in English). Then she offered to reverse the alterations and put it back the way it was, saying everything would be fine. At that moment, I started shaking—because I also noticed she had stained the back of the blazer. And instead of apologizing, she said, “Well, it’s white, it’s easy to get dirty. But I didn’t stain it; it was already like that,”—even though I had brought her a brand-new, spotless blazer with the tag still on. Additionally, the blazer had long ties that she had just been dragging along the dusty floor, without paying any attention. She did it twice while I was standing right there. To make matters worse, she also caused several snags on the sleeve, and again insisted she didn’t do it—even though the blazer was fresh out of the box and I had carefully inspected it before handing it over. I was so upset I just decided to leave. I had tears in my eyes—my wedding is in 10 days, and now I have a dirty blazer with terrible sleeves and snags. I didn’t want to get into a confrontation. But I’m writing this review to warn others from going to this lady—to avoid the stress and potential damage to your item. Especially if it’s for a special occasion. An absolutely unpleasant experience, with not even a single apology.

I had a snag in my jacket and brought it over for repair. They graciously did it for me without charge and it came out great! I will be bringing my future alterations to them - thank you guys!

I would not recommend anyone this shop for alterations or stitching. The owner is extremely rude, gives you attitude that she is busy and doesn't have time to stitch your small piece of fabric (after leaving it with her for 3 weeks) and then when you finally go to get it, she is rude and does a very shabby job. She also overcharged me for the horrible stitching that she did.. NEVER AGAIN.
