Had an alteration on a 25 year old Tuxedo. Great job, completed on time and at the estimated price. Highly recommended alterations establishment! Fit was perfect!
What an amazing professional! Not only did she fix my costume (it used to be twice my size and way too long, and she adjusted it to fix me perfectly), she had the foresight to do it in a way that allows for future adjustments if needed! She was also very clear about the service, understanding my expectations and pricing right from the start. Truly recommend it -- it'll be my go-to place for any future alterations!
Low class. I quite like the small businesses in this neighbourhood and that there is a certain kind of positivity and respect flowing around residents and businesses. Not this one, unfortunately.
Moluk always repairs garments, blankets, etc. for my children and me. She is very meticulous and proud of her work as a seamstress. I feel she charges a fair price for the effort and time she expends - also, she is very conveniently located in my neighbourhood which charges high rent to businesses. So I appreciate having her nearby! She can repair anything from evening wear to patching jeans - how nice is that!
I recently went to Needle & Thread for an emergency alteration on my suit for a friend's wedding (shortening the sides of jacket). I came in on a Thursday and told the lady there I needed it to be ready for Saturday morning. I received a call 4 HOURS LATER telling me my suit was ready for pickup. The quality of the work was amazing and the owner was super friendly! I wish I could give more than 5 stars, I would recommend this place to everyone!
I came here after reading the great reviews…I wanted to get a dress tailored and she initially quoted me 250-300 dollars to get it fixed as it was a lot of work, and told me that it would take a month to get it done. I didn’t have much choice as I was desperate so I agreed. After she put all the pins on the dress she told me that it would actually cost me 400 dollars to get the dress fixed, so I told her I needed to think about it as it was different to what she initially quoted me. She was incredibly rude, taking the pins off while claiming that she told me that it would be expensive, and then warned me that if I took too long she wasn’t going to have time to fix it. I ended up going somewhere else where they were first of all nice, a lot cheaper and the dress not only ended up looking incredible but they also took just a few days to get it fixed. I am sure she is very good based on what I saw, but I left very disappointed about the customer service in this place. Even if it was the only place in Toronto to get my dress fixed I wouldn’t have come back.
Such a lovely lady to do business with! She really saved my butt when I needed over 100 sweaters altered due to a manufacturing mishap. She was very speedy and had them complete in less than two weeks even. The quality of her work is top notch, I highly recommend coming here
