Loved the drinks! The service was so attentive and the food was a perfect match! Strongly recommend the fig leaf and Cafe du Nord drinks! The burrata is also a must try!!
One of the best cocktails + bar food I've had in North America outside of NYC. Top-notch mixology concept, subtle flavors, and nothing too overpowering. If you like places like Angel's Share & DCP in NYC, you're in heaven here considering the decent availability and price. The grilled cheese completely blew my mind too. I've never had a cheese with such mellow, milky flavor, for lack of better words to describe the sensation. Bar Pompette has officially become THE reason I would consider moving to Toronto.
Amazing spot! We sat at the bar and the staff was great. The OG Paloma was delicious but the birria style cocktail was so unique and great. We were over the dill pickle martini by the end but it tasted good.
Incredible service with attentive staff. Great atmosphere tonight (Sunday) with live Jazz with French inspired music and lyrics. NO food being sold here so I can't rate the food for this Google Review (N/A). Amazing cocktails menu with nice complexity of drinks. I enjoyed my Oh La Vouche and Pand'ora. Mocktails also available as my plus one ordered her mocktails. Really enjoy the vibes, atmosphere, it makes it cozy even it's snowing outside in Toronto. Perfect for date nights. Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back. MoVernie TIP: We enjoyed our dinner a few stores down at Vinoteca Pompette, same owner group and then came over for some nice cocktails.

Most disrespectful establishment ever! We were on the waitlist for over 3 hours and they still didn't contact us. And I saw them sitting a couple who had come after us at a 5 person table! They weren't even on the waitlist but seemed to know one of the staff.
Located in Little Italy just west of Bar Raval, Bar Pompette feels like a sophisticated French café with its white brick walls and elegant wood backbar. The welcoming French ambiance at Pompette should be no surprise given the provenance of the Alsatian founders Maxime Hoerth and Hugo Togni. Bar Pompette is a spinoff of the popular College Street restaurant Pompette, which opened in March 2020. Although the original plan was to push an ambitious cocktail and food pairing concept at Pompette, the pandemic forced the owners to switch to a brasserie format. As luck turned out, a cafe space opened up a few doors down, and it was there that Bar Pompette was born. Drink wise, you can choose from tap-based and traditionally prepared signatures, with my favorite being 11 am in Marseille (roasted almond orgeat, beeswax infused pastis, lime and egg white). Although I was not a huge lover of pastis before visiting Pompette, I am now thanks to this delicious sour!
